3 years ago I did 2 tours of duty in a covid hospital 6 months I saw families wiped out. To senior citizens. Plus children and babies. I can not tell you the amount of boby bays we used. I was travel nurses. What saved us and the staff was the double layer masks. I still get anxiety. It's true if they came in shortness breath. They was intubation and passed within days. It's something I'll remember for life. Being in rehab. I wear a mask can't trust anyone. I didn't get covid until I retured to florida. On a travel position. Nearly cost my life and I suffered for 5 months. Then my lupus kicked k Ed in . Caused renal failure and and heart failure. But I made to rehab. Learning to walk speak. I am finally going home end of month. ❤❤❤
My husband died from covid it makes me mad when ppl think it was nothing. We did great till Thanksgiving and my daughter family didn't use mask. The next week we got it.. he passed dec 19. Thank you for taking care of people.
So sorry to hear how hard Covid hit you. Glad you're finally doing better. I hope you didn't take Remdesivir in the hospital. It caused the death of my brother-in-law when he got Covid in 2020--it shut down all of his organs. Now we know that Ivermectin, Vitamin D, and Zinc are the only way to go whenever we are exposed or even just think we're coming down with the cold or flu.
@@JanGolden I'm so sorry for your loss. It makes me angry too when people talk about it like it was nothing or even worse, a figment of our imagination. How dare they! Who do they think were in the hospital dying? Actors? Such ignorance. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this difficult time.
Happy Birthday Janice! You are still a 'spring chicken' as my dad would say. I just turned 83 a couple of weeks ago and agree with a post that I saw: "My mind feels like I'm 30 but my body thinks my mind is an idiot!" (when I forget how old I really am!)
I just recently started watching your family. My dream was to have a homestead. Those dreams are not going to come true so I live vicariously through you all. I am 69. My youngest daughter and I adopted 7 of my grandkids. We now have 4 left. Ages 4-17. I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer and am fighting it. I love to see what the family eats and and shares love together. Your kids are wonderful. Sarah is amazing. God Bless and keep your family and thank you for inviting us in.❤

Happy Birthday Janice! Hope you have a lovely day! I wanted to write this earlier but just now had a few minutes to get it written! I wanted to tell you that I too suffer from pollen allergies. Unfortunately putting sheets in the dryer after they dried on line outside probably will not remove most of the pollen. My allergies are so bad I have to wash all my bedding and any clothing I’ve worn outside and dry inside on a rack or in the dryer. I also have to shower and wash my hair if I even go outside when the pollen (ragweed) is even slightly high. If I don’t I get the nose stuffies, sneezing , headaches and sound like a frog the entire pollen season. I even had an allergy attack from my hubby giving me a hug after being outside. I guess he went walking in the woods. Here’s the real kicker. We finally moved to a beautiful wooded piece of land about 7 years ago. Property is covered with pine and oak. Guess what showed up on my allergy tests I had done after being sick for almost a year. Yep, pine and oak. So now I medicate with Zyrtec every day and stay indoors as much as possible. I hope your allergies are not as bad as mine but if they don’t go away soon you may want to check out Zyrtec. It does not make you sleepy like Benadryl. Good luck, feel better.

I hope it passes soon for you but if it doesn’t Zyrtec is a Miracle for me. Plus you can take it only as needed. I know you don’t like to take medications do if you can find an all natural or herbal allergy reducer it might be a better option for you. I hope you find something that n add he’s you feel better. Allergies are no fun !

Hi, I started working for Wal - Mart in 1994. In Maine, around 2001 you could see a great difference in our home office attitude for our customer service. Up until then it was, an anything goes attitude. Give you an example, customer comes in wants to return his very dirty jeans he is wearing. Assistant Manager approves it, no receipt no underwear. I had to ask a male associate to go into the men's restroom, With the new jeans. Walk the customer-to-customer service and do the return as if this was an everyday occurrence. And I must say this was not the most outages thing that ever occurred! I was with Wal - mart 27 - years and there is so much you couldn't repeat.
I worked at customer service at a local department stores it absolutely absurd what people want to return and the reason why . I finally quit and went to nursing school
The key to the Netti Pot is to not do a full strength Pluto on to start and do just a little bit on each side to start. You build up a tolerance. You will not get as sick and will feel sooooo much better. It’s worth it. YOU are worth the time and effort. Get feeling better soon!!! 👍🏻🙏

Dairy increases mucus. All dairy to include cheese. I stop dairy and my allergy mucus cuts in half. 😉👍🏻
My daughter had an annoying cough for a long time and her doctor took her off of all dairy and grains. It seemed to work.
Janice....if you use a neti pot, remember to use only distilled water, not tap water or well water. I use the neti squirt bottle and really like it for everyday use whether I'm sick or not.
Thank you, Krista! I do keep jugs of distilled water around to use in our essential oil diffuser, so I could just use that. I know that I don't have the patience to boil our well water and then wait for it to cool before using the neti pot, so the distilled water is a convenience item for me! :)
If it happens again, just buy all the items using your preferred card, where you want a refund. Then go to the service desk and return at the old price/receipt. Before you do that, I'd go to the service desk. If they won't give you the refund, tell them you will repurchase at the reduced price and will immediately return with the initial receipt price. My guess is they'd be more likely to try and work with you.

I agree with Shawn about stores. But, sometimes it’s just the employee you get whether they help you or not. I was shocked by other employees and how they treated customers when I worked at Kroger.

Hi, up until 2018 in our Wal - Mart we excepted merchandise from other stores. You used something similar for an amount, put in the system as 70 types. If it could not be sold, we had to claim it out. This was done for Christmas returns.
