Away fans at Bramall Lane this season: Sunderland: Best Bristol City: Worst I missed Swansea at home although they were apparently worse than Bristol City.
Huddersfield fan Best: Coventry/Sunderland Worst Rotherham Rotherham are 30 mins away yet made no noise However props to reading on the final day for singing all game and having an inflatable party
I remember Preston away (Millwall fan) I got there 20 minutes late due to Avanti West Coast cancelling trains and missed the first 2 goals and saw the rest of the game, and the fans were being escorted back to Preston station trying to catch the train , luckily we made the train and got back home 👍
as a cov season ticket holder the best were probably sunderland or sheffield utd. the worst was easily blackburn 😂. i dont understand how a team that at the time was top 6 can have such poor support.
As a blades fan, I'll miss the away day at Preston next season, Great little Catholic club with free parking just round the corner from the ground, and the away stand is very good.
As a blade season ticket holder,I’d say Sunderland,Middlesbrough and Burnley made themselves heard lol,I think Watford who packed out the away end barely made a murmur
Remember going Deepdale when we won the league (the then second division) we needed a point and Preston needed a point to stay up. Needless to say it was like an home game with 15,000 Clarets and the game ended 1-1 so both Clubs happy 👍
Middlesbrough fan here and the best fans to come to the riverside this season imo where: Preston (was your special day where everyone dresses up with black hats), Burnley (packed it out and got promoted) and Coventry who were arguably the best (last game of the season and playoffs didn’t stop singing and sold it out). Should probably put Sunderland in that group as well I suppose but they were always going to pack out our away end with them only being 30-40 mins up the road and it being a rivalry. Honourable mention to Blackpool and Norwich fans also who I thought were great for different reasons. Norwich it being a Friday night sky game and they brought decent numbers and Blackpool for being in relegation zone but still looked like good support.
@@jasprr_1486 mediocre, nowhere near the best but definitely not the worst. So somewhere in the middle. London teams generally never travel to well up to us.
@@jasprr_1486 I can’t remember 100% mate as it was a while ago but if I rack my brains Luton and Reading were terrible both numbers wise and noise. Millwall were nothing special either. QPR made some decent noise and I think you guys were ok. So use are probs the best or 2nd with QPR. Millwall 3rd. Luton and reading last (embarrassing). That’s all the London teams isn’t it
As a Cardiff fan who was in the away end at Preston was were alright up until you scored the first and by the time the red card for Alnwick came about I'd given up (plus had to leg it to train station to catch the train so didn't stick around the see the 2nd as knew it was gonna go in anyway).
Old Deepdale could be an intimidating place at times, those paddocks left and right of the Town end full of lads pointing out their targets for the cobbles after the match. Burnley fan 👍
I was disappointed with Blackburn's travelling support for our final game at the Den. They only had the top tier, and even that wasn't full...given the importance of the game, I thought that was poor.
They couldn't even sell out there home ends at Ewood or Deadwood when we (Burnley) went there and won the Championship title on there ground, They are a joke.
watfords harsh. i went to deepdale, swansea and bristol, 0-0, 0-0 and 4-0 and dont get me wrong we werent electric but we certainly werent horrendous. we were the best at deepdale for sure
Honestly there’s been a few for worst. A team that comes to mind as the best have to be Preston. Brilliant all game and fans were super friendly and all in high spirits
To be fair it's a real shame that both league games between Preston and Swansea were Midweek games. Had we play Preston away on a Saturday we would have taken atleast double of what we took and I would without doubt say the same for Preston. As a Swans fan tho I'm very proud of the away support the boys get no team in the Championship have travelled further than Swansea with an average of 415 miles I'd say that is fantastic support.
From all I can remember, our keeper had a worldie (hull) and worst fans by far reading, 94th minute winner and could barely hear them. Glad they’re down
If Ryan lowe is still in charge when plymouth argyle play you at deep Dale next season expect a full away end .... mid week or weekend game .... unfinished business 😅
Funnily enough I was quite impressed by the PNE turn out at ours, HCAFC, though recall some Herbert running on the pitch and acting like a dickhead. Not sure if he was Preston or Hull to be honest. Best at ours maybe Sheff Utd, but its not far...Worst Nothing stands out.
Rovers support is just getting worse and worse, so much negativity and lack of passion it's scary at times. The Cov home game summed it up for me, massive game with loads at stake, 1 nil up late on and you'd think the stands would be bouncing. They weren't, it was shit and as a massively passionate fan it was an embarrassment. MAKE. SOME. FUCKING. NOISE. FFS
As a stoke fan we can take 200 and sound like 2,000 . Just got very big mouths and we like to shout and chant about anything . P.n.e away is a good away day i love deep dale unique ground players faces on seats nice touch looks smart tbh
LOL ............... Preston played Rotherham on a tuesday also. The game at Rotherham going for play offs at the time Preston brought the same amount as we did to Preston but puts in c .
At the stadium of light the best away fans this season for me were Sheffield United and admittedly Boro. Burnley would have been up there if play didn’t stop because they were throwing things down at the home fans. Same with Birmingham and Coventry.
As a boro fan, have to admit Cov have some of the best fans I’ve seen. Amazing both time they came up and wish them all the best for the play-offs.
Cheers
@The Burnley Trio I wasn’t talking about Burnley tho was I, as a boro fan, I was talking about when they played at Middlesbrough
They only turn up for the big games mate
@The Burnley Trio 😂
As a boro fan cov fans are mid-better than average

quiet for the numbers you bring
Thankyou from a sunderland fan who was there
Away fans at Bramall Lane this season:
Sunderland: Best
Bristol City: Worst
I missed Swansea at home although they were apparently worse than Bristol City.
And Blackpool fans win the award for having more possession of the ball than the 22 on the pitch! Absolute shithouses, glad they went down.
I was at the Swansea game. They were awful
I think you’d have to put boro and Burnley up with Sunderland,Watford packed they away end and barely made a murmur

Been to Deepdale a couple of times with Leeds, looking like we'll be there again next year so hope to be up for that one as it is a decent away day
Coventry best fans at Carrow Road this season. Blackpool were the loudest 400 fans I've ever seen here though
as a cov season ticket holder the best were probably sunderland or sheffield utd. the worst was easily blackburn 😂. i dont understand how a team that at the time was top 6 can have such poor support.
Cause their a shit club and wouldn’t surprise me if they end up dropping down a division soon dwindling attendances losing big money every season
I’m a Sunderland fan and was at that game, surprised you rated us as I thought that was one of the quietest we’ve ever been.
@@adamFTM1937 tbh noone in the league had very good away support imo. yours was just better than all the other teams shit support😭
As a Cov fan I rate boro and Sunderland away support
Oh how I didn't want to come back to this channel again but come August I'll be subscribed again.

As a hull fan I went to Birmingham away and the fans didn't make a noise all game and the food was horrible and it took ages to make it
As a blades fan, I'll miss the away day at Preston next season, Great little Catholic club with free parking just round the corner from the ground, and the away stand is very good.
That's St Gregory's Club on Blackpool Road. There are not many pubs in the immediate area nowadays
