I have noticed that in some reviews, there will be host that will say they were disappointed or only find the movie ok. But then throughout the recap they will say this part was awesome, baddass, amazing, mind-blowing but the movie was just okay. It's so jarring.
To play devils advocate, a movie can be just okay, but have some fantastic moments. Perhaps people felt like the movie may have been lacking something, others might not like the spots in between those fantasic bits, etc. They are just as valid, even if I don't tend to agree with them
We also have How to Train Your Dragon movies that very good as well along with Shrek and Kung Fu Panda. I hope this does well so we could a How to Train Your Dragon In Review leading up to the live action release
I will say on the Skidoosh note: The line was definitely used in a different context in the trailer for the movie where he was attacking with his stomach, I feel like this kicked off the meme more than the actual movie lol.
I dont know if it was intentional or a slip of the tongue but Andy saying "Y'all didnt baloo me" after the Panda facts made me laugh more than it shouldve
Forcing Greg to watch movies is what makes these in reviews so funny.... I wish he was on every in review. And I wish aquaman 2 got a proper Greg in review recap
Timothy!!! How could you not mention John Powell composing the score for How to Train Your Dragon?! Not only his best work, but one of best film scores, period.
I'm glad this was an In Review where the group likes the movie more as they talk about it. I'm with Nick on this. It's one of my favorite Dreamworks movies
Disappointed to see y’all didnt like the movie. As a kid, this was one of the most influential films I saw. Of course its got typical hero story tropes, thats because it set the standard that a lot of other movies copied later on. The animation, action sequences, cinematic score, characters, tension… everything adds up to a great movie here.
This was clearly written in the first 10 minutes of the In Review lol because only Tim and Joey said it was fine, not even dislike, they said it was ok, while Andy and Nick really like it, but as the In Review goes on they talk about so many things they liked about the movie
Nick was the only one with a good take on this one. I’m not sure what everyone else was expecting from a kids movie about a panda who learns kung fu lol
"A panda's paw has six digits-five fingers and an opposable pseudo-thumb (ACTUALLY AN ENLARGED WRIST BONE) it uses merely to hold bamboo while eating." So technically not another toe/finger.
I love this franchise as an animation fan and I love dreamworks also this is there best franchise since How to train your dragon I can’t wait for KFP4 in March Also what I like about this franchise is that the cast is talking animals that do martial arts and I love talking animals
@@brawly Ian McShane def killed it and I never even thought of other voice actors for the role. Hearing the KF crew discuss the cast made me think of other actors. Idris would be fun but Ian McShane def killed it.
Guys your skadoosh thing is like knowing star wars "hello there!" And thinking its everywhere. Kinda funny takes werent too bad this time but how they think this movie just ok i cant understand. Its not super amazing but its really good
Agree with yall on the movie. Its a fun, enjoyable movie but doesnt really stick in the mind. Elevated by it being a Jack Black vehicle though. Just a big Jack Black fan.
I feel like some of the story beats could have been way more impactful if they spent a bit more time fleshing them out. Also, the all star cast feels wasted on here as they're not given anything to do.
The length of time they take to discuss the "Skadoosh" line is comical
Yeah they are all completely wrong about it lol it was never that big of a deal idk where they are getting that from.
Literally. Other than just being quotable, I’ve never thought about it.
It’s a nacho libre reference I thought? It does have an orgin outside of the movie as a Jack Black phrase but I can’t remember from where
Kung Fu panda is one of the best animated movies of all time in top 5-7. Nick with the perfect take for this movie
Don't care for what anyone says, this is the greatest animated franchise ever and I can't wait
This is the GREATEST movie franchise ever and I am SO happy that these guys are reviewing it!!!
Jack Black is a king, and if you haven’t already, you need to watch Nacho Libre. Too funny!
Tim is in for such a treat with this franchise
Cant wait for you guys to get to the second one. Its a visual feast.
I have noticed that in some reviews, there will be host that will say they were disappointed or only find the movie ok. But then throughout the recap they will say this part was awesome, baddass, amazing, mind-blowing but the movie was just okay. It's so jarring.

I fell off In Review for a hot minute; they finally pulled me back in!
Same here!

now the next one.. the NEXT ONE is my absolute favorite of all time

Whenever there’s an in review with this specific crew you know it’s gonna be a good one even if I don’t care for the movie

Disappointed as well. Then again they’re all in their 30s, Kung Fu Panda is definitely iconic for us in our mid 20s and younger

PLEASE do How to Train Your Dragon!! A perfect trilogy!!

“I’ll be shocked if anything outranks this bad guy….” …..KungFuPanda2 is knocking
The kung fu fighting cover with jack black and Celo Green from this movie is one of the songs I use to hype myself up with on beat saber.

Didn't this movie come out two years before the first How to Train Your Dragon? 🤔
@@My0wnDrumyeah that’s my Q Cuase the first KFP came out in 2008 and the first HTYD came out in 2010 I think
I think they are gonna love the second one. I remember being so surprised by that movie
Skadoosh has been in my vocabulary ever since
I feel like Idris Elba would have been a perfect Tai Lung.
You guys are crazy. Ian McShane killed that shi.

That intro is 🔥🔥🔥
It’s interesting that Tim doesn’t expect the villains to be better than Tai Lung knowing that Shen is commonly considered the better villain.
Nick can’t remover the Furious Fives names… example, MONEKY,VIPER,MANTIS😂😂😂
Die hard and pirates of the carribean reviews please
Prince of Egypt rocks !
Man I forgot how good Kung Fu Panda is. What a movie. Skidoosh.

How to Train Your Dragon is a fantastic trilogy.
I don’t thing this was mentioned but this movie is huge in China because it gets the Chinese experience so right despite being an American movie
