Hello ASL Heroes!!!
Hey, I could really use your help.
If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you.
A small monthly donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com.
Right now you can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!”

Thanks!

Thank you, Bill and Cäsar for filming and posting ❤
Thank you! We have no one in the area doing ASL classes and I was so heartbroken until someone pointed me to you! This has been amazing for my girls and I! Thank you so much for what you do!
I was pulling for you to get to terabytes. 😄 When you "spelled" Cäsar's name in bits, I thought 😳😳😳 you just knew that! Then realized you used a converter. 🤦🏻♀️ Very interesting lesson. Thank you!
Thank you Bill

Thanks!
Thanks for the video, interesting information about the cost comparison 🤓
Love these videos!
As a long-time signer and software engineer, I enjoyed this video. Thank you! In addition to good information, it also had a couple of actual laugh-out-loud fun moments. Some thoughts:
- I was wondering if you were going to get into the "controversy" over KB vs. KiB. You introduced it (and dismissed it) at an appropriate level. Well done.
- I've always struggled with signing technical topics because of the sheer number of words that require fingerspelling. Even after years of practice, I feel awkward fingerspelling long words. It's a common trend in many languages, though, that the English word for a technical concept is often adopted into the language. I just think it's unfortunate in the case of ASL.
- "Nerd alert": I consider [memory] to be a better sign for temporary storage (RAM) and [save] to be better for (semi)permanent storage such as a thumb drive. This is a technicality, though, and in conversation most people call both "memory", so I can see why they would both be acceptable.
- I haven't seen the [tape spools] sign for "computer" in MANY years. That was a blast from the past! 🙂
Thanks for the feedback!
I like your distinction for (temporary) memory vs (longer-term) storage. Plus interpreters should know (or be taught) that if the distinction is (really) important then spell RAM, USB, HD, SSD, etc.
Olá, gostaria de fazer intercâmbio de línguas ASL, como faço? Alguém me orienta?
I feel like a nerd now! Yay!
Thank You !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cäsar looks like she's dressed for the Hunger Games 😆
She'd win.
