An eleven year old girl I coached in soccer passed away a week ago. This song reminds me of her. Her smile made us all feel better when we were down and out. Sydney please never stop smiling because the world is a brighter and better place when you do so. Thank You Coach Colin
i seen them last night!!!they were amazing!!!one of my all time favourite shows!!! the only downside to seeing the original line up is that they dont play any songs from the albums mark olson wasn't on!!so many incredible songs that they'll never play!!including this!!!gary louris is as good a songwriter/artist/performer/guitar player as any of the greats!!thank god for the jayhawks!!! best band ever!!!
Thanks again for all the great song... Jayhawks..this song really helped me out with my PTSD from my service in Iraq...I witnessed my best friend get blown up in an ied attack... thanks again for your song..
Hey SirRandolph - If you've just discovered The Jayhawks, then you should really delve into their catalogue before you say that John Lennon is/was twice as good. I'm a big fan of Lennon too, but I also think that Gary Louris is one of the most under-rated song-writers of the past 25 years. Take some time and listen to more of his work. I think you'll be very (pleasantly) surprised at the depth of his talent and artistry!

Minnesota gave us Husker Du and The Replacements. It can`t be that bad, even though summer must last maybe 60 days there.

@fattmelling Yeah, one of my favorite albums. My dream concert would be to have them play Smile straight through.
Richard Farnsworth is in the video. Really good song!
Don't forget they gave us this dude called Bob Dylan too!
Thanks to Marcus Berkmann in this week's Spectator for the recommendation! What if you made a classic and no one cared, indeed.
Is this from "Seattle 01"? By the way, I LOVED The Straight Story. Sissy Spacek was wonderful...
Love Gary/Mark/Jayhawks!
Lennon wishes he was half as good as the Jayhawks
Lennon is twice as good as the jayhawks and im sure they'd say that. But none the less great band just discovered them all the way from Australia.
