Yes he is and the theme reminds me of another theme from Bill Conti in Cagney & Lacey w/Sharon Gless & Tyne Daly In fact, I consider Ice & Zap the Cagney & Lacey of AG and plus, both shows along with ROCKY are all owned by MGM Television
Or it should've been in movies starting in 1989 where he composed, like it could've been for The Karate Kid III when a fight breaks out, or during a training session in Rocky V,
Supposedly Seth Rogan along with someone else is trying to revamp and bring AG back very soon. Hopefully they follow the original formula of the show and not screw it up like the one from 2008...which completely sucked! From what i've heard and read, nobody from the original shows cast and crew was even used or consulted for the betterment of the 2008 version. That's one of the main reasons it tanked! Hopefully Seth Rogan and Company do it right and involved the original cast and crew in some way. Then, it should work.
The 2008 version was not bad. The only bad thing NBC canceled it big time. I wanted to do the original show, but as soon i heard tryout was going on the show got canceled. In the new version i meet Justice
@@GCBlues45 Two things. A I tried out for the 2007-08 version. I nearly died. no joke. Secondly, there were a few glads that were trainers. Laser and Sabre were.
@@WolfpackEntertainmentYT i wanted to do the new show. I told Justice you get your first lost in Assault first station boom i get 10p5s & Justice takes a swim
This theme never gets old! Love watching this as a kid! This show never gets old!
Bill Conti hit it on the head with this theme...He is in the top 5 BEST music composers of ALLTIME!!!

Bill Conti, Danny Elfman, Lorne Balfe, Jerry Goldsmith, and John Williams are my top five.

@@tnawcwvictoria You nailed it!
I really love this original theme better than the most recent AG in 2008. Bring AG back, with talented hosts that aren't too flamboyant.
Priceless
Bill Conti was waaaaay ahead of his time! This theme is timeless and would still be relevant for a new AG reboot

Great 😊

@@GCBlues45on our UK version assault is called danger zone. Joust is called duel (we have a completely different game called joust
@@peterwilliamskelhorn6675 i know that. I watch the oringinal Uk Gladiators on UA-cam. Danger Zone was not on the International Championship.
Why Johnny Ferraro did took the credit for the creation of the American Gladiators and Dan Carr didn't?
