Some details about XG. They are a group of 7 ladies from Japan but operate out of Korea. They are exceptional rappers, singers, and dancers. The are signed to the company XGALX. The CEO is also the creator and producer, Simon, also known as JAKOPS. Their title tracks are all in English. They trained intensely for 5 years before they debuted in March of 2022. They are not really considered k-pop but "X-pop" instead since they dive into many different genres. Their lore is that they are "Galactic Wolves" traveling the galaxy conquering planets. The fandom is called ALPHAZ and we're part of the collective wolf pack. 🐺🐺🐺🐺

The 'mhmm' girl u were talking abt is Jurin, pack leader and 3rd eldest in XG. There are 7 in the group, in order of appearance in Woke Up: Jurin, Harvey, Chisa, Maya, Cocona, Jurin again, Hinata, Juria (with Hinata stacked vocals at the end), Maya again, Harvey again, Cocona again, then Hinata again wrapping it up with the hook.
This is to date their only full-rap track. Usually it's Jurin, Harvey, Maya, and Cocona delivering the bars, with Chisa, Hinata, and Juria making up the vocal line. But the rappers have solid vocal ability as well, we just don't hear theirs as much as the other three. Also their training started with a focus on dance and choreography, so they're all top-tier dancers and can move together like a world-class dance crew.
This is one rabbit hole you'll not regret going down, trust. XG is the future, and they are a phenomenon that comes around only once, maybe twice in a generation. You want entertainment of the highest caliber, with a hunger and passion to dominate the industry, you got it all here with XG. And you're right... tho there's gatekeepers and professional haters to disagree (the more the merrier), there's nothing vulture about these girls and their game: they eat, sleep, breathe, and bleed hip-hop and R&B.

Welcome to the XG wormhole. You just stumbled on a girl group that can do pretty much every music genre and do them very well, and is praised for their rapping, singing, dancing, live performances, music videos and clothing styles. The Grammys this year even wrote a piece that XG will likely start taking over the world this year. As well as outlets like Billboard, Rolling Stone and Instyle who all basically said the same thing sometimes as far back as 2023 even though XG made their debut in March 2022. Funny story about BTS.. they have directly impacted my life twice without even listening to them 😂 when I worked at Target in 2019-2021 they had this album called butter and we legit was flooded with customers demanding to buy the collectors CD😭 then when I worked at AT&T in like 2022 they had a stop here in LA, right across the street from my job.. for that entire week of their shows we didn’t get any sales because BTS had traffick blocked off😂😂😂
