If Rockstar do a new DLC like this but with Michael, I imagine a similar scenario but where he needs help for the film studio. I imagine him with salt and peppet hair, since the characters change physically in Online mode. What would be cool is if he mentions some events based on our progress in Online mode like Jimmy working in the arcade and thanking us for that, and even mentioning that we recovered the 10 items stolen from the studio. It would be so good, after all, Ned Luke who plays the character is still thoroughly on GTA V, we see him regularly posting on the game on Instagram.

I think it would be cool to see Cara Delevigne as a cameo in a possible movie DLC with Michael, since she's the host for Non-Stop Pop FM as DJ Cara, and with all of that, they can make up a new mix for the radio.
Since Epsilon is used at the very end of the Franklin and Lamar missions, they could use them in a big way in the next dlc with Michael. They may be trying to spread their influence through movies, and Michael needs help to stop it. He has history with them from story mode, and he'll need you because he can't get his own hands dirty
Man it was such a blast playing with Franklin and Lamar again and seeing all the references to single player, it kinda felt like No Way Home for GTA V

When talking about Trevor you can hear the happiness in Franklin's voice when speaking about him.
Pavel is such a favored character in the community that they referenced him in a update that isn't even related to him in any way possible

I like it when Franklin and Lamar talk about the events of story mode, and Franklin mentioning what Michael is up to these days
Loving all the lore this update has added, with Michael and Trevor getting mentioned and that they're still kicking, Franklin keeping in touch with them and Lester. Franklin getting married too and having a family now was a nice surprise. All the references have been great. Seeing what Franklin and Lamar have been up to since the story mode has just been so cool and of course having Chop back because he's a treasure. Hope R* will continue doing this kind of thing in future updates because getting all this has been fantastic
@Uncle closest thing we know is she's going to college in the "Kill Michael" ending. Obviously the ending is non canon but it's the only talk of Tracey's future after the story

I think the “Kid might stole a car” and the “Owing money to the wrong fucking people” could be references to the story mode missions Father/Son and Marriage Counseling (end cutscene)

Love how Rockstar acknowledge those memes. Hope someday the big smoke meal order scene from San Andreas comes back in Online.

I feel like that wall between the 3D and HD universe is as blurred as it’s ever been, maybe Rockstar is pulling back on it and we could potentially just see them combined anyway
I always knew that the universe theory was BS, but now it's basically confirmed that they're connected.
They were always somewhat connected.
Love Fist, Lazlow, Fernando Martinez, Epsilon etc... appears in both universes.
Maybe, then, Luis Lopez, Niko Bellic, or some other GTA IV character will return or just even be referenced to in future games.
Especially with the flint County reference

I like to think the only difference between the 3D and HD universe are the cities. While the events of both universes are connected.
Honestly, even though the content itself is nothing incredible, this is the best DLC for GTA Online yet.
It's such a love letter to us fans of the games, and it feels like the Rockstar I grew up with made this, not.... Whatever we have now. Cutscenes are story mode level of quality, too.

1:01 - "The kid might stole a car" is also a reference to the story. As because in his young ages, Franklin stole cars. In this dialogue he references to himself. Also, for Michael, Franklin was like a son.

also jimmy stealing michael's car in "did somebody say yoga"
And owing money to the wrong people is also a reference to Michael owing money to Martin Madrazo when he pulled down that house.

Rockstar should bring Devin Weston's corpse as a new reference in GTA Online. His corpse should be located at the seashore where he was killed in Ending C in story mode.

Events, that happened back in GTA SA (and 3d universe overall), are urban legends, fictionalised version of events that Indeed happened. Meaning that central plot of GTA SA with Tenpenny, Ryder and Smoke betrayal, San fierro garage, etc are canon in HD universe, but wacky stuff like stealing aliens from the military is obviously not canon.
Like I imagine some folks in GTA 6 mentioning drug mafia overtaking the city back in 80s and how their boss hated being called Harwood butcher

Man, you forgot the one that Lamar said "I'm movin'...' at the beginning Story Mode. They also used same voice line at "Fire It Up" mission.
He also used it in one of the Lowriders missions.

It's not even the first time. During the mission "Hood Safari" they do mention Grove Street using to be Families turf in the 90s.
The dialogue and the scenes in the F&L missions are gold, loved watching and listening to them.

And the whole dialogue about the wife is to do with Michael, owing money - Madrazo, the kid and the car - Jimmy and his BeeJay with Simeon

MD probably would've went through a lot of withdrawal and wouldn't have been able to cope without CJ, which would lead to old habits such as cocaine. Mad Dogg and CJ were friends and CJ was also MD's best manager. Just doesn't make sense how Mad Dogg is still a rapper if CJ really did die, or maybe he never cared about CJ. Who knows?

Honestly, love if Rockstar bring us music from their in game artists like Love Fist, Madd Dogg, OG Log and so on, maybe in a future dlc, maybe as part of their new record thing they are doing,
Missed opportunity to add a new 9F based on the new Audi R8 so they can recreate the scene from the fist mission where we meet and play with Franklin and Lamar for one of the Short Trips missions, maybe next update, but I hope to see Michael in the game in a dlc dedicated to him like a movie based update, so who knows tbh

I’m sure most of Lamar and Franklin missions were reused from the cut single player DLC. As they have nothing to do with Dr. Dre nor the Contracts. I believe they didn’t wanted to waste those good lines. It’s a shame we don’t know how much else we lost.
Look at The Doomsday Heist, the Casino, and Arena War, all have content from scrapped story DLCs that involved Trevor and Michael
This is one of the best DLC's of all time. Hands down.

I'm glad that both Trevor and Michael are still alive and around, i really i hope that i get to play as Trevor again either in the new online dlc or even maybe in gta 6 because Trevor is such a fun gta character to play as👌
The missions playing as Franklin made me realise how much I want new story mode content, or at least just more with returning characters.

7:48 if you look at the corner, you can see a small guy. That guy probably is from the start cutscene of one of the missions from Woozie's casino in GTA San Andreas. In that mission they were doing audictions for small people that could sing or something like that

I think we should start looking at the 3D / HD universe separation in the same way Marvel presents 'Variants' in the Loki series. These characters all exist in the HD universe, but their timelines, stories, appearances and personalities may be slightly different. Hence all these references.
when Franklin mentions the burned weed farm in Flint County, i imagine that in the HD Universe version its not CJ that did it, but a hippie that did it

its cool to see real changes to the map such as Franklins house, record a studios and LD organics because in story mode LD organics never existed neither did Record A studios
this is by far the best DLC in online, glad to see some of the old things returning or referenced in online

@@Mewtwo_150 A small relatively undetailed landmass like Cayo Perico and even smaller buildings like what you mentioned are nothing compared to painstakingly recreating cities and surrounding environments like they did Liberty City, Los Santos, and Saint Denis. If Rockstar has any sort of brain, they'd release Vice City, San Fierro and/or Las Venturas in GTA 6.
I fully believe the inclusion of Franklin in the newest update is to keep people interested in GTA, especially with how the Definitive Edition got bungled.

It’s not an Easter Egg or Secret but it’s nice one of the potential locations for the Security Contracts is at Braddock Farm where Potshot took place, it was nice driving my Armored Kuruma up there and wiping everyone out again.
I will never understand why R* tried to purge that and Coveted by making them hard to find regular missions with very poor payouts.

Cuckstar actually removed a lot of missions from the game. Some had ridiculously low payouts. Instead of updating the payouts, R* decided to remove the missions entirely.
Writing this... Gave me some good nostalgia... I was just 13 (21 now) when V came out. Back then, we had to do missions, races, everything to earn money. Best car was the Zentorno and if you came back in time and told people that there would be flying bikes shooting pinpoint accurate missiles, they would laugh at your face.
You think they could actually bring Madd Dogg and OG Loc in the HD universe as new A-list contracts?

In Record A Studios you can also see OG Loc’s gold record and Madd Dogg’s Platinum record. Love Fist and some others are there too.
Now we just need some michael missions where you team up with him and trevor like in the "short trip"s! Bring the boys back rockstar!
After all this reference, hopes for Michael coming back. And imagine what if they brought CJ back in a DLC

Another Easter Egg i found in the Agency is when u buy the accomodation upgrade and go to the wardrobe if you didnt change the artwork and kept the stock art u can see a painting that looks like the Vanoss crew punching each other

So far, the best DLC ever made in GTA Online, ever. Second is Cayo Perico.
I loved the callbacks to GTA SA. Madd Dogg and OG Loc. shows that the devs still remember. Small detail but it means alot personally
nah doomsday heist still the best and it's not even close
@@Zerdical Doomsday? Nah, fuck that. That heist was so damn hard to do, especially when you got no friends to play with you. Yes, I’ll admit the vehicles added on that DLC were really cool, but still, the heist itself was bad, and not even that fun.
@@Jre289 imo the first heist was lame but the doomsday scenario was so fun. It was hard but challenging imo
@@Zerdical Ye, I’d prefer Doomsday Heists over the first heists, considering Doomsday requires only 2-4 players, while the old heists required 4 people, which was a pain in the ass to have to wait half an hour just for 3 other random people to join.
