Wish the crowd would have a little more respect for Ninja. This is a charity event and yelling at the guy to “go back to Fortnite” really put a bad taste in my mouth. Love him or hate him this is a very fun event and he is a good dude.

Aside from positioning errors, Mr Beast played out of his mind this series for having no competitive experience.
Even if Ludwig inted, the confidence for Mr Beast to zone DL instead of focusing Ludwig to give Emiru the kill 2v2 is impressive.
I think he’s been playing league for while so regardless he has heavy experience in the game

At 1:47:25, Yassuo applies Liandries with his E. Then his team secures Elder while Liandries is still active. Somehow, Liandries procs Aery and Elder Dragon leading to an infinite chain of alternating Aery procs and elder dragon. Tyler1 dies 25 seconds later.

@@sagaciousjunebug The interaction between Aery and Elder was allegedly fixed 3 years ago, but I'm guessing either Liandry's or the fact that Elder was slain *after* the first application of damage had something to do with the bug.

Ludwig was such an anchor for team Ninja. He was feeding in every game. I couldnt help feel bad for doublelift, he tried but he was basically 1v2 in bot lane.
Doesn’t matter, Doublelift is a challenger/semi-pro player, the average mmr of this game was plat so it should have been easy for him

@@PauIo001 it's easy to 1v2 after the early game phase when you have your items but emiru isnt that inexperienced and mr beast is a support main so they bullied him hard early game which is why it was hard for him to farm up. And it's not like he played bad and inted, he played well but unlike him ludwig kept dying in lane giving away kills to emiru which made her really hard to fight against in a 1v2. Also, Mr Beast shifted his lead to the other lanes and started roaming which ludwig didnt have the experience to do.

Thresh is one of the hardest supports in the game and soraka is such a noob trap... she's really micro intensive and also requires good awareness with the ultimate. They should have just stuck ludwig on Sona or Yuumi so he physically couldn't int.

Yeah game2 comp for team ninja is a bit bad. You have 3 carries, all of which requires positioning thus you need someone to zone for them. Soraka can't zone at all and Urgot alone wasn't enough

Damn Mr. Beast is actually good at league - that roam and protect in the early game of game 1 was so clutch.
He actually played with Tyler and doublelift before with pyke. He says he never played ranked and was always a casual player.
This is so cool, I love the thrash talking to Ludwig and despite all of that he redeemed himself at game 3 with some sick ults on the fiddle, and everyone there was so wholesome, nobody really lost in the end there. Would love to see this again.
I didn’t realize the tournament was today but I caught all of it, and man was it awesome. Watching these content creators playing in competitive team setting was so entertaining

They should have had a different strategy for where to put Ludwig or get him ready for this. Maybe stick him in the jungle with a tank champ like Miskif. Support is really not an easy role to learn for someone brand new, especially playing with and against former pros/challenger players.

that fight at 1:41:17 took away any hope ninja and his team had left. they took out 1 of their threats by catching vik out then collapsed on emi at that point with 4 still up they should have won but voy rlly clutched up in that 2v4, it was quite unexpected and very fun to watch.
Wasn't unexpected, basically 2v5 with Tyler1 and Doublelift dying from carrying so hard. Ludwig was a 50 tonne anchor. Snapsnap looks like its his first couple games, Ninja playing champions he can't play with 0 map pressure. Just impossible game all round, no idea why the announcers expected Ninja to win.

at worlds, doublelift instantly dies to QER In less than half a second. He didn’t just stand around waiting in ult. And not flashing wasn’t even the mistake at worlds, taking the fight at all was the problem. Also flashing to live at 1hp here isn’t necessarily worth it because it’s a 5 minute CD and his team is guaranteed to lose the fight either way.

I'd imagine casting for many hours straight is pretty tiring so they can't just use the same casters the entire event. In terms of why they can't get better casters, I think there aren't enough casters in the world who are able to relocate and show up for a live event. Basically the only people with a resume in casting are those who already do casting and even eligible candidates probably have other jobs going on (there aren't enough contracts available for it to be a career).
Is a big company ever going to put faith in an un-proven caster to represent their broadcast? Seems unlikely. I don't disagree that there is a problem, but I'm not sure that the solution is that straightforward.
