Whoever did Nafeesa Williams' styling and make-up for this set of interviews, take a bow! She looks like an absolute goddess, especially with that gold make-up on her beautiful skin.
I think my favourite thing about Rivals so far has been the cast interviews. Theyre all just a lovely bunch of people that are really funny and supportive of eachother.
Have been bingeing cast interviews and loving them, but I have to say this is probably my favourite. ‘Get to know you’ style cast quizzes and fun anecdotes are great but this is genuinely the most interesting - to hear insights from the cast about the themes and specific moments and things from the show and how they approached them. Awesome job to the interviewer
Why wasn't David paired with Nafessa. They were together on the show and I would have really liked to see them interact with each other in the interview.
No, girl, in the 1980s, we had way more Black woman executives, on screen and off. Same with Asians (and Asian women), etc. Insert [intersectional identity] here. The 80s had its own problems: but it was about the money and who could make it, and that was all anyone cared about. The reason you might not realize that is because it wasn’t in the least bit remarkable back then.
I was looking forward to this series, but I have to say, it’s proving a struggle. My main complaint is the male characters, the casting is bad, and I mean bad, especially Rupert. Not as good as good as Riders.
Have you watched the show? Has your opinion changed at all if you have watched it? Think it’s got to be the best tv I’ve seen in ages, I’m obsessed lol

These cast interviews have been just a highlight and just as much fun as watching the series. What a great bunch of people and amazing talent.

There is one thing i did not like anout rivals and that was Maud she was a cow to her hubby and to Taggy so self centered and selfish
The actress who played tonys wife looks so much like his ex wife in real life

Watching isn't mandatory.
I've always prefered Twix to be honest.
