- In Episode 21 of The Brick Executive, the almost forgotten Ocean Liner of the United States Lines is the focus. While it was never named, I gave it my own for the purposes of this video. It was an interesting build, and I learned a lot about this ship during the study process. I myself had no clue or even awareness that this ship until recently; not knowing that it had existed or even was a idea. I hope you all learn something new in this brief video! As far as placement in Season 2 goes, this ship and video replaced SS Leviathan in the schedule.
Music in this video was provided by the UA-cam Channel Whitesand. Information regarding the music may be found in the end credits.

Beautiful build! Thanks for sharing us the story of a unbuilt liner ; )
Nice build, mate!
So basically the ship’s story is similar to the rmmv oceanic. Company doesn’t have enough money and they have to change the hull into two separate versions of what it was supposed to be.
The company did have enough money and construction actually never started. Just with the economic environment and the focus of society, it did not seem appropriate to build these ships.
By any chance do you remember the link to the news paper talking about these ships and the link to the deck plans?
The newspapers do not offer much in terms of information. If you are wanting some decent information I would recommend the Popular Science Monthly article along with "Damned by Destiny" by David Williams and Richard de Kerbrech. Those include several artistic renderings and a profile of the ship. I was able to get deck plans through a private source.
Very nice. Do you disassemble them after or keep them?
Also, if you need suggestions for another unbuilt ocean liner, there is the SS Vaterland of 1940. She was to be the new flagship of Hapag, but was launched during the war and bombed out before being s scrapped, never truly finished.
I do disassemble then afterward and I already have the SS Vaterland (1940) scheduled to be built in the future, so you will see her someday.
The Brick Executive superb. She truly fascinates me. Have you considered more unbuilt, cancelled liners?
Yes. At least 10+.
