"no amount of money allows you to pass through the steel sheets that separate class from class." I have never nor will ever forget that line. It's unfortunately true.
tommy asks if blackbird reminds her of her lover and she said yes, so tommy plays the boy i love is up in the gallery, the song Grace sang when he first walked into the Garrison and she was singing. Nice touch by the writers
Absolutely hated how much the fans demonized this character; she was fighting for a good cause and was trying to appeal to Tommy’s humanity, and people get so wrapped up in how sigma Tommy is that they forget they would have been one of the factory workers he fucked over if they were in this world.
Fighting for workers rights is a good cause, associating with the Communist party, especially of the time, is not. As someone who lived in the USSR and was a member of the communist party, I'm glad this show represented them for what they often are -- violent gangsters. Too often communists act like they have a monopoly on compassion because of a superficial reading of socialist economic philosophy, and they abuse this to make people think their intentions are better than they really are. Everyone wants control.
I once explained to my sister that revolutions have an inherent positive meaning to Americans. But revolutions are like music. Once you start them they probably aren’t going to end where you want them to unless you’re really lucky.
@gimlithebrave6354 that's obvious, the less obvious is that even though our revolution was one of the greatest successes, revolutions by and large are a terrible gamble. They're mostly just a game of power usurping where the common man is a pawn.
List of sexual tension between Tomas & ladies/gents 1: grace 2: Mrs Carlton 3: unions leader lady 4: Irish cousin, who came to buy the guns!!! 5: mr Mosley 6: Jack the US lad Finally mr Shelby has never discriminated
Would have been a much better story than what followed with lizzy. I would go as far as to say that Jessie would have been on par with his relationship to grace.
@@abhisheksavant4307 I think that lizzy was good because their relationships was very complex but it really didn't have outside factors like there could have been with Jessie. Maybe Jessie could have been better but what we got was amazing as well
beer is not flammable, but vodka can be. Petrol absolutely IS flammable. Tommy is referring to how much more volatile and explosive the Russians are compared to the English.
“Whatever curly is” 😭😭 mans been so faithful to him and he cant even call him a friend
Honestly one of the most genuine dates Tommy’s been in. It had everything a good date needs
What romantic date needs an alterieur agenda?
@@jesse6468 everyone
@@jesse6468LMAOO I was thinking that
Technically, there was an ulterior motive. Remember what happened to Jessie Eden when Tom got elected?
You guys just watch but don’t know what you’re watching . Tommy dated her to get the communist names

Right!! This show was a masterpiece if only the people who disliked it *actually* paid attention to everything happening.
Just boring

"Whatever Curly is"🤣
No
Whoever invented tommy Shelby is a genius creative writer. And the right role for the actor.
Hmmmm maybe we could use the internet to answer that question and give credit to the creator.
@@KingofFarkle !! yeah, congratulations to thomas shelbys (gilbert) mother for inventing thomas shelby (gilbert)

Just two Murphies sitting down and enjoying dinner
Literally they both look so beautiful together 😍😍
4:13 Charlie Murphy is so damn beautiful. She also plays a side character in the last kingdom, and I highly recommend that show too!
He sure was a comedian.
Shadow queen was wifey 😍
She's top tier beauty of Tommy's girls.
She's alright. I think most Men prefer women with longer hair, and her face isn't bad, but isn't all that.
@@mirac2062I like my women with a lil bit of fight in them
I think that's one of the few times I saw something food related in the series
How to deal with labour union: sleep with the leader 😂😂😂 a normal shelby move 😂😂😂
Those deep Brown eyes of hers. So beautiful
First time I've seen anyone complimenting brown eyes instead of blue haha
Haha
I think the song he plays is one of the songs Grace sang in season one…. The lyrics sound similar…. Not the already broken song….
It is
Underrated scene imo
😂😂i am drunk texting this but trust me this show needs people with more understanding
I once explained to my sister that revolutions have an inherent positive meaning to Americans. But revolutions are like music. Once you start them they probably aren’t going to end where you want them to unless you’re really lucky.
And the reason why they have an inherent positive meaning to Americans is precisely because the American Revolution ended up where we wanted it to.
@gimlithebrave6354 that's obvious, the less obvious is that even though our revolution was one of the greatest successes, revolutions by and large are a terrible gamble. They're mostly just a game of power usurping where the common man is a pawn.
