You don't get scours after all that beet consumption? I typically do the same thing ...with a mix of triticale and clover hay...then unroll 2 bales of hay behind the cattle and they knock off the seed head and stomp the new seeds in the ground and after 2 weeks I get a bloom of new growth after the bales are unrolled

Hi they don’t get scour because they stay on the beet for 2 hours , then going to grass paddock.
