    I purchased one to use in my off grid cabin. I use a generator but in some cases I do not want to run the generator for the just the tv . I plug my 32'' smart tv into tis inverter (4AH Battery) and can run the tv for 2 hours no problem. Has worked well over the last 4 trips to our cabin. Will run my table lamp 5 hours .

    Bought an open box return on Ebay for $40 about 3 months ago. It arrived DOA-I took it apart and found a blown 25A automotive fuse inside....The fuse has to be desoldered and resoldered. I use the USB everyday at work to keep my phone charged. When we had a power outage this thing allowed me to use many low power devices (cats litter box) which really saved the day.

      @@walkersonneville5036 Look at the back where it plugs in or where the cord goes into the coffee maker. It should show the power consumption. If it's over 150W then no, something like that is probably over 150W.
      We had a power outage where I live a few months ago. House got really cold....Recently I tested my fireplace fan and realized it will run the fan for an hour or two on a 4AH battery. Next time power goes out we won't have to freeze!

    I purchased one of these in May 2019. I use the USB ports almost daily and haven't had any issues. I've also used the AC port to power portable refrigerators and other devices. As long as I use devices that are under the 150W or 1.25A rating it's been great. I have been very happy with this purchase. Nice review.

      I’ve had mine since 2019 as well and I’ve also had only awesome feedback. I used mine daily going through several batteries each day while commuting 5 daily hours on a train and it was a life saver. I left a battery and charger at work and would just rotate the one I used on the commute in then it would go home with me the next day. I hope more people read about the good experiences with this because when I saw ‘do not buy’ on the thumbnail of this video I had to watch the video and though I respect the very likely chance the reviewer got some bad luck lemons I wanted to vouch for this item in my own experience… this powered/charged my iphones, iPads, misc usb charge gadgets and started many a conversation when helping fellow commuters who were in a jam to charge their devices on the train. In the process of Getting the 40V version so that I can use my MacBooks as well. Cheers all

      @@TRYtoHELPyou I also plan on doing a more accurate efficiency test. I'll take a full P107 and see how much power it can put out of the USB and outlet before the battery is empty. I'll measure it using a USB doctor and kill-a-watt respectively

    • @brendansmith9677
      @brendansmith9677 3 роки тому +2

      I tested the USB ports and off a full P107 I got 3375 mah. That is 16.875 watt hours, meaning it's about 60% efficient with the USB ports. I'll do a similar test with the outlet and update this reply
      The outlet was about 63% efficient. My kill-a-watt wasn't precise enough so I found the efficiency of one of my USB power bricks and then used that and the current from the USB doctor to find the efficiency of the inverter itself.

    I use it to run holiday LED lights, laptop, 20w hot glue gun, modem and router, led tv's, evadry 9w mini dehumidifier, will run various fans for various time periods depending on size, can run a bunch of 100w equivalent LED bulbs, electric blanket/heating pad, etc. It is a modified sine wave but that doesn't really matter for anything that is bridge rectified to DC.

Sure this just chonks on, but functionally, i dont know how many devices commonly used require those extra 30 watts. Your gaming laptop idea is perhaps one that would need that extra wattage, but it still functions on lower wattage, as long as you keep activity low, and when you crank up the activity, it would run on battery i assume.

    It has a protection thingy inside just unplug the battery wait for 3 seconds slap it back on and it should work if it doesn't repeat this step

      I appreciate the assist here but I did this several times. One person also claimed it was the larger batteries that was doing it (they are all one+) so I tried them all. The USB ports were dead. I want to be wrong about it but I thoroughly tested it, tried it out. It broke.

    I'm on my second one. First one barely ran a desk fan.. unplugged that and tried to charge my phone. Nothing. Inadvertently shook it and something was rattling around in there. Just got a replacement. We'll see what this one does. Don't have high hopes after this video. I think Techronics just conveniently forgot about these things. As they frequently do.

    I've made DC power banks from old Ryobi chargers 1 9ah battery will make 3 pots of coffee ( 12 volt coffee maker) or will run 12 volt cooler for about 6 hours. I made a 6 port from an old defunked 6 port charger I'm thinking of using it as a power wall in my camper. Since my solar controler has a 12 volt outlet and I have a 12 volt Ryobi car charger I could recharge the batteries off either the truck or panels....I used to use the USB on my Ryobi radio to charge my phone at night camping...it also went bad on me😒 I'm thinking they're just plain cheap parts bought in bulk

    • @TailsFurse
      @TailsFurse 4 роки тому

      All depends. Most vacuums are 400 or more watts. 200 for the tiny stick vacs. So no most likely. You are better off getting one of the many cordless stick vacuums the tool companies make. I have the Makita and the Ryobi. Ryobi for carpet, and the Makita for the hardwood.

    My ryobi batteries die within a year - what's up with that?

    • @CTMKD
      @CTMKD 4 роки тому

      You probably don't use them much and/or you leave it on the charger for a while. Just make sure that you get oem batteries. I have two batteries, p108 and p105 and they have lasted three years, work like new. Might just be variation in quality

    • @jeremyharris8181
      @jeremyharris8181 4 роки тому +1

      I had two of the 1.5mAh batteries die on me over the last few years. I think it is from leaving them connected to the tools while not in use. The batteries are supposed to stop working when they've been drained to a certain point, but if they are drained further, the charger is not able to start charging and displays an error. I've seen some videos of some people drilling a whole into the battery and hardwiring a charger to "jump" the battery. Just don't keep your batteries connected when not using the tool.
