So they don't want to provide firmware support for older cardos, so you have to buy the new cardos to avoid difficulties with/to even connect to older ones? Did I get that right? I have an Edge on the way anyway, but that's a pretty bad thing.
Well, basically yes, you have to create groups with the edge in order to group with older devices like the Bold. You are not able to join a group (that was created with one of the older units) with your edge. According to the Cardo systems support Quote, "PT Edge can not join the existing group. It is designed to be the admin. There is a need to create a new group." Creating a group with the EDGE is fast and reliable when creating a new group with the older units.
@@advgnome Ohh okay. I listened to your video whilst quite tired. So there is backwards compatibility where it counts. It'll just be inconvenient if you were to want to ride with a random group and tell them 'sorry yall, could you all join my group so that you can hear ME?' haha. Otherwise, not too bad I spose.
@@Snoupity You are absolutely right! It happened to me already, and they were so confused why Cardo would so such a thing. Apart from that, I'm very happy with the EDGE! And thanks for watching my Video ;)
The algorithm brought me here! Leaving a positive comment so hopefully more come
