People don’t realize until they’re a few hours in that the early stages of an Ironman account are the funnest parts of the game. Everyone thinks it’s going to be such a slog until they try it and 9/10 are hooked before they even equip an mithril item.
Super excited for the perilous moons content in the future. Good call on not lamping 48 slayer btw, if there's no new slayer content in the next expansion i'll probably make the exception aswell. Ppl can only watch skilling content for so long lmao

great series! excited to see where it goes. Tip: With maze random events you can get at least 10x your current rewards if you open 1 of the chests in the maze repeatedly. When you open it your timer stops, and in 1 minute you can reopen the chest costing you 1% everytime you open. There is even a plugin to help you time the chest :) gl

So I've started my own Varlamore account and just found your series. I actually allowed museum myself, it works perfectly. If Hunter feels like too much of a grind through forestry I may allow Land's End for early hunter, though that would require X Mark's The Spot for Zeah. We'll see how the fox events go. Blew my mind with that oak shortbow.
You may have already found this out, but X Marks the spot is not needed to visit Zeah

You mention that you are enjoying this more than your main right now, and I think that is why Ironman is so successful. OSRS has always been about the journey, not the destination. Doing the old classic early game grinds in a brand new zone is so refreshing and enjoyable.
I also can't help but think that Jagex keeps snowflake accounts in mind now when they are making new areas. Like there's so many little things they put in to make so much content accessible entirely on Varlamore. None of it hurts the average player experience (like the random shortbow or axe on the floor) but it makes to any challenge accounts that people play.
@@zackbryans4982 I don't know...they put so much hunter content there without any way to train it until...maybe implings at 17 if they even spawn in varlamore?
That said they included several "pranks" for low level irons where valueble early game items are surrounded by mobs that will kill you when you go for it. I died going for an iron scimmy lol. There's also a steel sword spawn that you can see from inside the city but you have to walk alllll the way around super out of the way and it's like a 5 min walk lol

I agree with a few of the others comments, I love the tenacity to lamp a skill but it’s just not a good watch. I’d say just go get the slayer and rc levels you need and be done with it. I could understand lampung to like 20 for hunter, but slayer being lvl 48 req would take forever. That’s just my opinion but I’m loving this series so far and I’ll watch it either way
Love the content. But no one wants to see another person spend 6 months lamping skills. Bro just go train to base for either the quest or something in the area you can train. Same with slayer go get 48 and be done. No one enjoys watching the lamp grind. Get to the content.

well not exactly. There will be long grinds but account is literally unplayable untill the requirements are met. its like expecting settled to do a morytania locked account without completing priest in peril

Two things on client crashing:
1) It is possible that your RAM is overloaded. Google Chrome is a notorious RAM hog if you use it.
2) Delete all of your Runelite temporary files. This is what solved the issue for me, I would crash with 2 clients before and now I can run 3 without issue.

2) I haven't had a crash since, i think it was me having 2 clients open
Oh, and I recommend the Runelite plugin Time Tracking Reminder. It can put an icon on the screen when your farm run is ready.

Reason I ask is because the same thing was happening to me when I had 2 clients open with steelseries gg
Steelseries has a feature called moments which tries recording gameplay automatically and that caused weird things to happen with my clients when I have multiple open. I closed steelseries gg and aint happened since. hope this helps.

i could do that outside of recording, you can't play an account without unlocking herblore / requirements for the quest that literally makes the account possible.

Idk why people are saying leave val to train for the quest requirements. That defeats the whole purpose of a locked ironman account. There's already a chunk series an ultimate ironman and like 3 hc ironman val locked series if this guy leaves he better kiss this series goodbye
allright ill see you in 6 years for the next episode (on the real tho, main reason is quest being locked behind those requirements. by not manualy doing them, it would not be completed in the next 4 years if i played 16h a day)

Making exceptions is pretty much saying you cant be val locked. Did swampletics leave the swamp no brother.
The entire point of this account is it being locked behind the moons of peril quest. Did swampletics happen without completing priest in peril first? no brother.
I think you need to watch that series again if you think Swampletics never left the swamp.

disagree heavily. That's like saying swampletics is not valid cuz he completed priest in peril. I have to complete that quest before the account is even playable / fun. Forestry kit literally unlocks the woodcutting minigame
@@MikaRS The whole point of being area restricted is not being able to do certain content in the game... Herblore exception is fine but doing museum and forestry is such a reach lol
@@Kamboozled u do realise others can spawn an event for you and you just chop it as well right? cam torum would never be unlocked without those exceptions rendering the series boring as without cam torum there is no colloseum and without both of those the best you can do is hill giants + moss giants :)
@@MikaRS The point I'm trying to make is that if you need all these exceptions to have any content in the region/series then maybe the series/Varlamore locked account just isn't viable...
