Hey Shawn! Just stumbled onto your channel and all I have to say is wow!! I’ve been on a bit of a Prestige kick lately so it’s great to see so many titles shown here. Wonderful stuff dude, instant subscribe! I hope that you continue to keep up the great work.
Teddy Charles Coolin from your collection of lp's is my best ! trying to deal with the issue of European Jazz there are wonders!!! Jazz is worldwide and not just American I guess. Thanks for the video trying to deal with the issue of European Jazz there are wonders!!! Jazz is worldwide and not just American I guess. Thanks for the video .regards from France
The 4 Miles Davis albums that were shown on this video are referred to by some people as the "Apostrophe" albums due to the album titles being a single abbreviated word ending with an apostrophe.
Hi i'm french Sax player and lover of Jazz music since 40 years, i have many records , the discovery of the prestige Records IS a VERY great pleasure , thanks you very Much !i go watching others épisodes !😊
I'm slightly late to the party on this one. Anyway, very glad to have found my way here. Thank you for highlighting the perpetual nonsense peddled by contemporary labels about endless re-masterings of old LPs. Contemporary pressings are admittedly a game of Russian roulette. I have a Universal Music reissue of 'A New Perspective' by Donald Byrd. Side 1 is so badly pressed you can see indentations in the groove. Sounds awful!
@@analogwavelength He brought it to the flea market he sells records out of. He had it in an outer poly sleeve and the record was in the original waxed paper inner tucked between the back cover and poly sleeve. I looked it up on discogs and confirmed what we both thought. He wouldn't tell me which Goodwill it was. LOL
Good job ken from England just got to your page please it coming . Thank you. Ps have say your LPs are in great order.

For that few years when albums were release in mono and in stereo, you do collect both, don't you?
No way. I own whatever copy I can find. I don’t keep two copies of anything.
Hi
What happened about the rest of this series? I was looking forward to more. Did something happen to you?
I’m working on a part 2 and 3! More to come soon!
