    How does decrease in Voltage brings increase in Current when ohms law states that Voltage is proportional to current; v= ir?

    inverter provides AC current not DC, that first slide was all messed up. you fixed all but the inverter current, yes you can change AC back to DC with a diode rectifier as in your later explanation of an inverter in the slide headed history of welding power sources, but an inverter on its own changes DC current to AC current.
