I was close to ordering this on ebay but I know I can trust Show.Zstore so I'll be buying it there. Thanks for the video and the heads up. Your son did a great job building it. It's not a simple set to assemble.
Those extra gold pieces are similar to the ones that you get with the official version. Oh and for Defender of the Universe they aren't paladins that's from the netflix show legendary defender
Those yellow bricks (especially with Yellow Lion) in the KO set...not sure if the legit Lego Voltron had this issue or it's just the lighting, but that yellow looks more like orange than yellow. And yeah, they did pretty well with the difference in the shape of Red & Green (Red is more square, the jaw normally is hexagonal; Green is cylindrical with a circular jaw and even a more rounded head than the others). Oh!! Black's wings are supposed to be folded up in lion mode and extended in combined mode. And I would LOVE to see like a special metallic color edition release for Japan as Hyakujuuou Go-Lion!! (After that, they need to hop on making Vehicle Voltron aka Dairugger XV...yesss!!)
Good to know that some one will carry your legacy my friend will try to do something aimilar with my boy but he only speaks spanish do will do a review of a toy that he likes with him. And by the way awesome voltron and im pretty sure that you can change some parts to give him more articulatuon but just by standing he looks amazing. great review thumps up for both of you cheers
VirussRuss you should totally do reviews in Spanish. The reviews with kids are super popular. Imagine all the Spanish speaking countries that can’t get ahold or afford official LEGO. My son even watches the Spanish versions, because he just likes to see the toys played with. You should definitely try it. It wouldn’t hurt and could build confidence in your son. I enjoy these videos with Ben and his son. In fact, the Lepin videos have inspired me to grab a few cheap sets and put these together with my boy. He doesn’t care about official or knockoffs. I can’t afford to pay the extreme prices, but I want my son to have the joy I didn’t have as a kid. Go for it and make some lasting memories!
To be able to hold it like that shows how well built it is. Great videos
