Schubert tryed to write operas but it was not his cup of tea - probably because Lied was more intimite, simple, pure, honest and severe - I really missed that personally.
Man hat das Gefühl, sie leidet wirklich, sehr berührend trotz technischer Schwächen (Aufnahme) und Ungenauigkeit bei der Aussprache, verschluckte Konsonanaten...aber das macht nix, sie ist einfach echt und hat eine ganz unverwechselbare Stimme
