Norman Finkelstein said "I am not for sale" and he has proven that, He made massive personal sacrifices for being on the side of justice and humanity. A Prince Among Men. World and humanity needs Norman Finkelsteins to survive and trive.

Bull, he is making money off of the suffering of his people! He is akin to the Jews who pushed his people into the gas chambers and crematoriums of nazi Germany. I was not able to listen to this sewage completely until the end but I do note that up until the part where he states he is not for sale. He never was never able to shit out of his mouth that he believed that Israel, had a right to exist.

He clearly is completely for sale. He is also delusional. He admits himself. He does not remember writing a book in which he describes the process of profiting by the victims of the holocaust, and using the holocaust to rationalize what he believes is, evil behavior is a very, very sick man

NorMAN Finkelstein said it best. He's not for sale. That's a free man. The idea that he might need security and Alan Dershowitz walks around freely is a great reflection of the world we live in.

Thanks for showing the most authentic and attractive personality of Dr. Finkelstein. This was excellent work. Thank you for sharing.

After watching the 4 videos, all I can say is: very interesting interview. The interviewer is very good (he is well informed, and lets the interviewed talk without pointless interruptions), and the interviewed is, as always, quite interesting too. I really enjoyed it, and learned from it. The only question left is: where are the next parts?

So I know nothing of the man other than the odd time reading nasty comments about him in FB groups from Zionist Jews.
I am still studying the conflict topic, & hope to get thru his books in the next few years, as I'm working on other forms of activism now.
All I can say, is that he seems 100% genuine, honest, he's clearly a humanist, & I applaud this part of his character. He even knows his negative traits which most people don't know, so he's not just a brainiac & I respect him just for that alone.
Great interview. I'm watching all the segments to this long interview.
    Thank you

Some people are effected in this manner when people suffer. I'm not happy people have to cry but glad they do when Humanity is behaving in this manner. Better to cry now.

He is. Interviewing older people is challenging. I remember Paul Jay from the early 90s but not sure why. Maybe he worked in Canada or on MTV or something like that.

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out-
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me-and there was no one left to speak for me

On the still photo before the beginning of the video, a store sign behind Norman, across the street, reads “SPARTAN STATIONERS 800”. What is the name of that street?

Mr. F, I know you have suffered, you have suffered deeply, saying your suffering is iligitimate because others have it worse to dismiss your own suffering is not fair to yourself.

What happened to part 5? I was especially curious to see Jay and Finklestein cross swords over the two state solution, which it is my impression they disagree about.

His late-teen fascination for God-on-Earth-Mao, his thirst for social justice, his very principled (and highly commendable) stance on a writer / thinker's integrity, his rebellious character, and the uncompromising fury (aka passion) with which he defends his point of view on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict all point to some kind of "white-knight complex". To those unaware of his biography, it would be tempting (although easy) to assert he underwent some kind of Christian influence at some point in his life. Since this interview took a very Freudian turn, I'm wondering whether his mother's central influence is the only explanation for this. Considering she grew up in Poland, was she herself influenced by christianity one way or another ?...

Jay, why haven't you been introducing and referring to him initially as Dr. Finkelstein? I understand the closeness of the interview, but you need to impart the honorific to your viewing audience, so they can afford him a level of dignity and professional prowess.
Also, again, you keep on interrupting him. Was his contract for being on your show only 4 episodes??

16:00 Paul Jay sugg'ests its better to be silent about it than to denounce the (financial) misuse of the Holocaust , weird

Finkelstein does himself no favors with his occasional shocking, inflammatory statements. He's almost always right of course, but a little more restraint in his delivery, while keeping the content intact would go along way.
