An update on Pacific Airlines:
As of the 19th of March, I have learned that Pacific Airlines has ceased operations pending restructuring. They've been in a bit of trouble for a while as I explained in this video. It is my understanding that they will return all of their aircraft to lessors. I'll try to keep you updated, but in the meantime, I wish Pacific Airlines all the best.
Update 2 (March 30th): I am aware that Pacific Airlines intends to lease 3 planes from Vietnam Airlines so it can keep its license.
Update 3 (June 23rd): I believe Pacific Airlines has finally announced its return to the skies, as it is preparing to resume operations on June 26th with one aircraft leased from Vietnam Airlines.
Omg. Now this is the review im after! I'll be flying them in 2 weeks time from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh!
I’m happy for o hear I could provide the review you were looking for. Sounds fun!
Another great review! Look forward to watching your channel and adventures grow over the years to come!
Thank you so much! :D
Nicely done Hugo, that’s one very uninspiring airline livery though 😂
Thank you! Yeah it really is 😂
Look mate, you seem like a good kid, just be careful out there traveling by yourself. I'm 14 myself, and I know what's out there, stay safe mate, everywhere you go. I'm flying by my own soon, but just protect yourself.
Thank you for your concern. I’ll be sure to continue to be careful. I only travel alone in Australia, I was with family on this flight.
@@Aviation763 out here to help a brother, keep doing that, what you just said is a good idea!
When I flew Vietjet, Airbus A321 at the end of May from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh on a 1 and a half hour flight, we park at the remote gate, even though my flight is international and take the bus to the terminal, which is interesting. Vietnam's low cost airline on a narrow body jet always park at the remote gate, whether it's domestic or international.
Yeah, there’s sooo many remote gates at SGN. Thanks for sharing!
Very insightful review, I totally loved the presentation style in this video well done!!
Thank you so much!
Amazing review and First 🎉
Thank you!
Great review mate, thoroughly enjoy your varied routes and airlines
Thank you so much!
I never knew JetStar operated a airline called JetStar pacific or pacific airlines you can still see the remains of the orginal jetstar livery on the a320 with an Australian Registration , also that landing was S M O O T H( At least i think it was)
Yeah. The landing was quite smooth!
Nice review, they really did the bare minimum with that livery
Thanks! Yeah…
I enjoyed your airline history summary; very interesting. It would appear that with a limited appeal hard product, they are putting far too little effort into the service aspects. Management issues one suspects
Thank you! Yeah agreed.
There's still a lot for Pacific Airlines to improve on. I flew on them aswell and didn't have the best of experiences.
Yeah for sure. Yeah, I don’t think you’re alone.
I love your Video I just subscribe your Welcome😅😅
Thank you so much!
I flew with Pacific Airlines in July 2023, and compare to my flight, yours seemed to be on the better side. First, I got a 2-hour delay. Secondly, FAs on my flight sat throughout the flight; they only appeared to sell food and souvenirs. They seemed to be unprofessional and not well-trained, or it's because they didn't enjoy their job. And the pilot on my flight really woke everyone up with such a hard landing; the strongest I've ever experienced.
I agree with your opinion about Pacific Airlines. They consider themselves a LCC, but the price is usually just a little cheaper than Vietnam Airlines, and much more expensive than VJ, VU, and sometimes QH, while the service is even not as good as QH, or even VU
Eek… thanks for sharing! I’m happy you agree with me :)
I miss the Jetstar 717 my dad took them in 2002 from Mel to sdy
Never got to fly them myself, but I’ll miss the 717 that’s for sure. Cool!
I have a bad history with Jetstar in 2022 I was to fly Cairns to Bali on Jetstar, they cancelled it due to pilot falling sick.
In 2023 December I was to fly Pacific airlines (ex Jetstar) from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City they cancelled it again and they rebooked me into a Vietnam Airlines Boeing 787 Dreamliner which I don't mind at all. So something tells me I should never fly Jetstar ever, so far I never flew on a Jetstar flight
Wow… that’s very unlucky.
Just wondering if you have plans or have already been on the Flair Bonza aircraft
Not at the moment
Can You Please Fly Phil Air Again But Not The Bad Fleet The Good Ones! The A350 Manila To New York City Pal's Best Fleet!
Yeah I’ve heard that’s their best. I will fly them again (hopefully on the A350) but k highly doubt it’ll be this year, for many reasons including there being many other airlines for me to try, but also just because I’ve been put off by my other flights and I’d like to see if they improve. Definitely at some point though!
Isn’t this airline Jetstar?
As I said in the video, not anymore
