Within a few short years of my life i lost so many who meant so much to me. I wrote this song because i didn't understand how else to express the pain buried in my heart. I understand now that we all have our time set for us, an hour only God knows. I realize that no amounts of vices will bring them back in my life, nor will it take the pain away. Honestly the only thing it did was make me feel more miserable. I sat countless nights drinking away the pain like a broken record slowly losing myself, till finally I snapped out of it and realized it was time to move on. I believe that if my loved ones were truly here today they'd want me to endeavor and get my life back in order and to trust in God again. Although he giveth and taketh away, I know that everything the LORD does in my life has its meaning. So i want to say a prayer for y'all.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this life you've given us and that you've allowed us to live another day. Some of our loved ones are no longer here with us and although it hurts at times thats okay. I would like to ask LORD in the name of Jesus if you'd forgive us for our sins and continue to watch over us as we live our lives within this world. Help us to not fall short and to flee worldly temptation. We're not perfect LORD but we try, and we give thanks to you for continuously blessing us even though at time we don't realize it. All glory be to you God in Jesus mighty name we pray AMEN!
