We, the people here, are happy with the work you do and we love you. Life can sometimes be really annoying and overwhelming. I hope you can get through these times in a healthy way, and if it helps, I'm leaving a heart here. 💙
I'm so sorry for your losses and for the tough experiences you've been going through. This is a really beautiful video. Thank you for being so open. Wishing you well and looking forward to the next video, whenever it comes ❤
Thanks 🙏. It was (and is) very hard to find the courage, but after reading all these beautiful comments I know it’s worth it. I hope everyone finds the courage to open up to others.
It takes courage to be open as you are and letting us know how you are feeling. Well done. Take all the time you need… Your story on fibromyalgia got me to follow you. You encourage me to sit on a bike more and possibly go on a micro adventure again on the bike. Don’t be hard on yourself. Just follow the path you already have chosen… 👊🏻
Thanks. 🙏 I see more and more how strongly the mind and body are connected… The fibromyalgia often made me feel my body was working against me, but I think my body was actually trying to protect me. Definitely a topic I would like to make a video about, when I have learned more about it. Are you suffering from fibromyalgia yourself?
@@Fietsvlogger Yes, and after some years I am now in sick leave due to the pain, fatigue and probably a burnout. Always worked hard and 40 hours per week, but now (hopefully) heading towards a social security payment (WIA). On the one hand this is painful but on the other hand I think it can help me in getting things on track again. Hopefully I can get some rest and in time get back partially in a job that suits me (and my fibromyalgia). I am very interested in how you cope with it in your live as being “self employed “. This is something I would love to take upon myself as well (graphic designer, working from home).
@@Hangvogel Being self employed gives you the freedom to choose your own hours, which is great. I don’t feel that well in the mornings, and now can start the day at a slow pace. Also: go for short walks, have a swim, etc. Or take a sick day…. (Plenty of them.) But it’s a challenge as well. I haven’t been the best boss for myself over the last few years, taking on too much work. I’m trying to find a better balance. When working for other people it’s almost impossible to find that perfect balance though, in my experience. It’s even harder to say no. It is a great idea to start working from your own home, as a graphic designer. I took some courses in the past, to learn how to get assignments for example.
Thank you for sharing your story. I am going through things that make me think the world would be better off without me. I am creative and I have many friends that tell me that I have value but unfortunately that sentiment doesn't ring true. I love your creativity and vulnerability. We will survive and the hardships will be our armor to future sorrow. Love you - M
Your brave and honest and you make great cycling vids. I hope your doing well and get through everything. It takes time but you will get there. Looking forward to your vids on Ireland... I'm looking for cycling routes over here 😀.. I need to get off the royal canal greenway...
Stick to it ypung lady! I love your cycling videos. Give me inspiration to get off my butt and on my bike with the tent etc (even if it is only for 1 or 2 nights at a time). Couldn't do that trip on the river cruise to save my life though! Had a few miserable times in my life too, but now have 4 grandchildren ranging from 5 months to 5 years to think about. Old man from UK living in Austria, speaking a bit of broken German (more like Denglish if I'm honest). Sunset Strip (77) at the end of next month). Have to keep taking the tablets now and seriously restricted alcohol intake after a life of eating, drinking and being merry between the hangovers! Along with mountaineering, rock climbing, camping etc at the slightest opportunity since the age of 15. Yes, you brought a tear of sympathy to my eyes! Been there, done that! It gets better, but like grief, never totally forgotten, sadly. Please excuse the "Edits". Like many others my proof reading skills improve dramatically after 'send' is pressed! 😄😘
Wow John, really great to hear I’m inspiring people to jump on the bike. I have stopped drinking alcohol as well, actually during the years I was using pretty strong painkillers. Alcohol gives highs but also deep lows. Rock climbing sounds like a better way to find hapiness. 🏔️ Healing is a bit like grieving. It feels the same sometimes.
Thank you! I came back totally exhausted from my trip in France, underestimated it ‘a bit’. Taking some time off soon. But there will be a video online this weekend. In Dutch, with English subtitles. Hope you’ll like it. 🙏

Thank you so much Wayne. Brings tears to my eyes. ❤️😢
Knap om het zo te delen, je kwetsbaar op te stellen. Hopelijk gaat het steeds een stukje beter Jessica.
Respect for sharing and wish you a full recovering

Dank. 🙏 Dit bericht deed me erg goed. Ik neem vaak geen tijd voor mezelf, maar ga dat de komende periode toch even doen…
