North 40 is my favorite store, the cows look like they appreciate North 40 as much as I do :) love that place!

  • @kodydell1024

That restaurant in the back of your thumbnail is a really cool place

  • @stuartrinker

We love that north40. Always stop there when we’re in town. If nothing else just to meander around for a few. It gives us our weekly socializing so we don’t go ferrel. Haha! Have a good week guys stay warm.

I've used round bales with feeder, round with upside down u- shaped bar in middle seperators. Doing it for 15 years for horses. An approximately 600+ bale lasts 2 horses 12-14 days free choice. Grass only hay. If their putting on weight, usually when grazing too, I put a net over bale with 1/2 inch spacing. The net usually adds 2-3 days till needing new bale. I also don't use blankets on the horses when shelter is available free choice. Never had any issues. North Olympic Pennisula, 1500 feet elevation. It's 2 degrees here now.

    Looks like a great investment

  • @ArkansasPilgrim

It costs money because it saves money.

  • @Transitlady59

    Looks like its working great.

  • @SunfireWoods

Couldn't wrapping a 16 foot cattle panel around the round bale, set upright on top of a pallet, do the same job? I've seen it done for goats. Just tighten the cattle panel as they eat the round bale to smaller sizes. Cattle panels are about $30 and a couple of clip or caribeaner hooks maybe $4. Pallets are free, or $3 at the Ponderay co-op.

Hey Chad! Did that really cute Creed Bull come with the Round Hay Bail or did you already have him? Lol. Creed is growing up Daddy and cute as can be! He had to Help y'all but be the handsome little man that he is. Can't believe how big your Kids have gotten over the years. You have an Awesome Family there! Seems like the Animals had no trouble at all figuring out how to get the hay! The smaller ones eating off the ground is a plus! Less goes to waste! Always so good to see and hear from y'all up in North Country Idaho! Last time I saw you, y'all had no snow, then you got it later that day! Now, You have plenty of Snow! Seems like here in Extreme North Ga Mtns, the Winter has been very very strange! Bitter Cold n High Winds with Tornadoes! Imagine That! Temps in the 20's n 30's with Tornadoes! Sounds a bit governmental controlling to me! Yep but anywho, Always a Blessing to know y'all are doing Good up there! Give the Family my Love n Blessings of Good Will... Stay Warm n Safe! Prayers Always... God Bless. 🙏🙏❤❤🔥🔥

  • @stuartrinker
