interesting concept David, that is until I discovered in order to use this information. Garage band is required, on my 2020 iMac. I have tried to use GB in the past. Have had absolutely no success using garage band on the Mac to create anything. Otherwise, looks like great fun; thanks for sharing :).

David, I so wish I could get this to work! I'm running Ventura O/S, and after getting past the hurdles you described and being able to paste the input and output info to MySpleeter, I get an error that says: Separate to file (filenames inserted here, I used my correct Desktop address for output) failed: Can't load save_path when it is None. The output address that produced this error was /Users/[my HD name]/Desktop . When I added a / after Desktop, it generated a whole page of error code. lose/lose ;-) Got a workaround for this? Thanks! (I left this query on your FB page for this video too.)

Can't you override gatekeeper without needing to go into System Preferences by Control-clicking the app in the Applications folder, choosing open from the context menu, and clicking open in the resulting dialog?

Seems to be a load of rubbish! Downloaded and installed app twice (on M1 MacBook running Big Sur), attempted to separate various .wav, .aiff, mp3, .m4a audio files - always crashes.

My Spleeter won't create a folder. No matter where I save it to I get a message saying, "My Spleeter Quit Unexpectedly." I reopen, but it still quits.

You can also right click and then hold the option key as you press "open". That saves you having to go to system preferences.
