@@UncleWheeze i think he means the resurgence thats been slowly happening since about mid/early 2010s and is exploding now in the 2020s in terms of more mainstream popularity. I'd say, for the US at least, it was because of two things. The first being the worldwide resurgence of EDM, rave culture, and, even more importantly, nostalgia (vaporwave) back in late 2000s~early 2010s. Secondly, would be a few key producers who came after/during such as Ethereal (who fused hip hop/trap beats with jungle as early as 2012 on his album Car Therapy), LordFubu, and ICYTWAT with their "PS1" cloud rap-esque beats in the early 2010s that put us in the headspace to move towards pure jungle as THE next thing to listen to. If you recognize any of those names you might recognize the person they all helped to develop his sound: Playboi Carti. Also ties into the current 90s retro trend here that Gen Z is spearheading, kids young enough to not have been born yet to know about that OG 90s stuff like Goldie, Storm & Kem, LTJ Bukem, etc. Edit: shout out (BIG UP if you from UK) PinkPantheress, Nia Archive, and Tara Lily out here doing it for the new generation, gotta keep the sound alive
A few years back probably. I remember PewDiePie having some new DnB intro for meme review. So I typed in liquid DnB or something into UA-cam and got a bunch of new stuff that reminded me of old school DnB that I'd find in menus from Dreamcast and PS2 games.
There's a whole bunch of music genres that I feel will make the world. A better place if they were mainstream, like this and synthwave just to name a few.

The japanese official title is sonic world adventure, in the original soundtrack I think the game is also labeled the same! But yes it is unleashed you're correct
