Sims is definitely the way for me. Focusing commander skills on strikes that are only available every 90s isn't worth it
The worst/best part about hybrids so far, which is also kinda dumb it hasn't been added yet at the same time, is that now you have the same bird's eye view you would get with a spotter plane on PC. Instantly giving you a sense of direction an enemy ships is taking behind island you couldn't see the regular way. Unless you are running a battleship with torps, but that's only for forwards or backwards
I really think that they should bring the hybrid concept in the form of the Japanese battleship Ise, since she was actually converted to be such in real life. Technically, we have the Hyuga in game already, and the Ise is her sistership. I I think it would be a fantastic addition as a premium. Or a campaign ship.

Nice video I am running Dewey on my Louisiana and he has been good overall, here is how is builld has effected her,
I have on him in slot 1 Contact is imminent, slot 2 Look at me Now, slot 3 Hidden Threat, slot 4 Steer Clear, and final is Fully Packed Legendary 3.
Ships stats, Aircraft trop speed 59Kt faster trops then Ranger and Lexington, detect range 9k range for attack 14.5km, Guns reload 25.1 seconds, range 18k, maneuverability speed 31kt, turn is 950m, rudder shift 13.9 seconds, now the concealment is 12.9, that is huge my Montana has it at 15.3, with worse rudder and speed, at 12.9 its only .2 above my Alaska,
I think no BB at that tier our in 8 has that good with out building for it a lot, now I could up my range with reaching out losing steer clean getting 18.5 but I have a rudder shift if 14.9, so I keep steer clear as with this boats size rudder is a big thing to me, so I well take the 18k range.
This to me means I can get closer with our fear for a bit and disengage faster,
Now I think these ships are not that nasty they are good in the right hands for sure but I think some of the trouble is how to fight them,
They are new so not many ideas how to counter them yet, but I have fought a few in arcade mode and have dodged thier trops in the Arizona a slow ass ship, so if anyone has trouble with that they are brain dead because again slow ass dreadnought.
I have slappped the ships with Arizona main guns thought the fron of the deck, set one back to port almost in one attack. This talk by other players that its op is a knee jerk reaction to this all, as it does add a new play style that needs to be learned to counter, and once you do its not so bad, not saying I know it, but me I take the trop hit sometimes because I know they want me to go broadside to slap me with the guns,
And the trops way hurt less then DDS, CL, or CV ones well hurt less them most do, but the guns hurt worse, and lower flood chance with these trops to, and they hate fire I have in a Dallas burned one to the ground, at lot if super struckture to burn.
I plan today to take Queen Elizabeth out and if Arizona was slaping them I know she well and I can not want to show in Arcade the tier 6 who is still Queen of the tier 5-6 stuff,

Louisiana Had Martigraw Going On In New Orleans, Umm Ive Shoot 35 Times At Broadside Connrticuts And Nebraskas Even In Drive Bys, I Know Where The Citi Is Aim For It And Havent Gotten It Once Yet. Excellent Game Sparty, Hope You Get Better. Conneticut Is Busted.

Hybrids jus breaking the game day by day. Been playing since beta and its literally the worst time since aircraft carriers came ,,😭
the hybrids are definitely amazing,not to mention when bow end the flight deck armor means your essentially unmovable. I like to think of them as american Richelieu with a flight deck
Tbh the he game is a bit biased towards American ship and that’s sad cuz I also like to enjoy other ships but the American ones are just sometimes broken in all tiers I hope they fix that
What do you mean bias towards american ships?.. I mean the largest audience for this game is in America and we have had the most powerful navy in the world since the destruction of the Japanese Fleet in ww2.. so lots of ships to choose from.. but overall they arent all that special in terms of performance they are just solid ships that are easy to learn to play... where as other nations have more powerful ships some completely busted but usually takes more skill to bring the best out of those ships
@@SpartanElite43 that’s the problem American ships are so Interesting to play in contrast to other nations that it makes them more enjoyable and more playable especially for beginners in mid to high tier .
Honestly either the Battle Carrier's I play are still learning them or they're ineffective in a larger scale, had 3 in a game and I bullied all 3 with my Smashafewships, so not sure on their impact probably in the hands of a seasoned player they're probably deadly but I am yet to see it across the board

When I try to use my planes I don't get the overhead view to aim the torps, I have to aim them from just normal view and it's pretty much impossible.
How do I get the overhead view?

These ships are very accurate, but the torps while good are challenging . I just hope they don't nerf them after the camp---. These are fun ships
Sheesh....what an angry ship that Louisiana is....well Spartan may have a point with Sims...it does seem logical to leave the planes to their own devices and maintain the primary firepower of the Louisiana, but....I'd like to see Spartan demonstrate a Louisiana game with that new commander as a direct comparison...that way we, the viewers, can have two sets of data from one source to compare.....

This game has one of the most chicken head player
The only part I hate is that they are way to OP and when they send there planed your AA doesn't exist to shoot the planes down and is a problem
I dont think they are way op but maybe a touch.. a little reduction to torp damage would likely fix it

But if the mission that give you indipendium are weekly it means that if you get some of the tech tree hybrid ships you can potentially get Louisiana for free
I doubt it as they almost always make you s p end money on crates to get these ships.. however it will be available as a free bureau project next year

American bb with torps i love them so far its definitely a good line all around and farily balanced really because let's be real most of the wow player base can't think and breathe at the same time
I agree with pg...the air planes are just support. Guns are your primary weapons. Makes no sense to use anything other than the guns. But wait now you can be annoying as hell and drop tops on pretty much anyone in a radius with minimal amount of your attention with the way this mechanic works. Feels like war gaming is just adding stuff just for the sake of it and then fine tuning it as they go without ever actually taking time to think if the idea was actually good to begin with. These air strikes are very call of duty-ish when you're also a battleship with big effective guns.
How do you unlock the Louisiana? I’ve only found the Connecticut
You'd need to get enough impendium to buy it in store or wait until next year and it'll be a free bureau project

Spartan I know the other commanders are good but just a suggestion, I have been using AL Colorado for all the hybrids and it works great. Great video again and thanks for the content.
I hate how now they ruined the whole point of holding a flank or a island down so they can't advance. There should be a mode where you shouldn't have to be fighting planes like this.

If you're good eith positioning, then you can still do all of that. The problem I have with your comment is people hold flanks.....but at their own spawn.....it turns into a stare down and who wanna push first to get focused on. I rather have both team push and win thru positioning of movement rather than sit back and "hold a flank"
Or have AA that’s actually good. Cuz atm you just can’t build for range cuz it will result in worse accuracy.
Rochester/D7P/Worcester i have full AA builds on and they are like the only ships that can deter strikes somewhat.
But only if the carrier don’t got damage reduction active otherwise it don’t matter. AA should fecking work
@@TaskForce-ql3bxI’ve got an AA Azuma with the focused fire thing, planes and all rated at 100…. Man does it not feel like it at all, but then I fly over something with a lower AA rating like say an American battleship…. And with no AA perks or equipment at all… its twice as effective at shooting down planes and that is not an exaggeration

Just got Delaware and I think she’s better than Maine and Iowa!
We need a rework on AA. 100 AA rated Azuma with AA boost is less effective then an American battleship rated at 88-93 and no additional perks or equipment
Part is the volume of AA and other part is range of AA
If you have longer range AA it will feel more effective than a ship that has more AA but short range
Definitely fun
Story of my life on this game as of late. Top of leader board 100k+, carriers and cruisers, still losing. 😂
sounds about right I keep getting top of the leaderboard with my BB's and CL's only to be let down by my teams flanks collapsing even when I've erased opposing ships from those flanks with crossfires to help them.

Iv played world of war tanks for 6+ years been playing wows for about 2-3 years this is wargaming at its finest. Buff carrier's last patch and funny enough 4th july comes along carrier campaign ship and a legendary which is expensive to buy outright. Make it strong for a month or two then nuff the crap out of it. Rinse repeat....
