Should you buy a London Pass?

As of June 2020, most attractions featured are closed due to the virus but should reopen as London reopens. We suggest you use this video this help plan your trip to London once it reopens.
Every trip to London usually includes the question, "should we get the London Pass?". It's an age old question that conjures up strong feelings on both sides. Because prior to the trip, the cost of the London Pass weighs heavy. But once in London, the cost of buying individual tickets to the different attractions and the long lines make the London Pass look much more appealing.
So to help you, we bought the three (3) day London Pass on our last trip and attempted to maximize how many things we could see.
Now it ended up being more complex than we first thought because, once we knew what we wanted to see, we had to plan factoring when the attraction was open and travel time between attractions. And of course we did this during the 3 days up to New Years Eve, so that complicated things as well.
On a side note, we were not paid by London Pass for his nor are we advertising for them. This was done on our own and we neither advocate or are against the London Pass. We only wanted to show what you can see with it and how many things you need to visit to make it worth the cost.
Itinerary
DAY 1
1) Hop on Hop Off Boat Tour
2) Greenwich Roya Observatory
3) London Transport Museum
DAY 2
4) Tower Bridge
5) Tower of London
6) St Paul's CathedralS
7) Shakespeare's Globe Theater
8) Golden Hinde
DAY 3
9) Westminster Abbey
10) Big Bus Hop on Hop Off
11) Charles Dickens Museum
12) View from the Shard
In the end, the three day London Pass cost £127. If we bought tickets to each attraction at the door, the total cost would have been £238.10. So using the London Pass allowed us to see 12 different attractions and saved us £111.10
10 for Content and Presentation - 0 for Music
I understand, but thanks for watching!
accent killed the video
Hey Sierra, wonderfully explained. Do we need to book slots for all the attractions which you have mentioned or we can walk in ?
Thank you! You can walk up to all of them. And the pass allows you to bypass lines.
I appreciate you showing the total cost/savings!
Thanks for watching!
I can not finish watching this video. The music is terrible!
Great video heading to London next month and looking up entry fees and the London Pass popped up. Came straight to UA-cam saw your video and you have answered all my questions. Going to buy the pass now. 😂
Happy to help! The tricky part is fitting everything in before 5pm. Most of the places close by 5pm.
Why didnt you go to the london eye, London dungeon, sea life aquarium, london zoo etc. Those are the main london attractions right. If it is your personal choice i agree. I just wanted to know if these attractions are included in the pass. 😊
Hi, some of those were not available under the pass. But the tricky thing is time. Most places are only open until 5pm, so we were limited on how many things we could fit into a day and still enjoy them.
Music is annoying but good content
Understandable, but thanks for watching!
How did you fit all of this on the first day? Are you able to share approximate time info? I believe Tower of London entry closes at 4:30 pm - correct?
Yes! Our biggest challenge was trying to fit as many things as possible before 4-5pm when they closed. So we started early in the morning, first boat to Greenwich, and visited places close to each other.
@SierraTravel did you use the feature on the London Pass website that helps group attractions by geography? Did you find that helpful?
Hi, we didn’t use that feature exactly. Did it the old fashion way with their map, and just looked up what close to our location.
And have you done/ heard about the walking tour that comes with the London pass? Do you recommend it?
We didn’t, but there are many free walking tours that cover the same.
thanks for Video
Thanks for watching!
Very nice tour video my friends 😊👍
Thanks! Hope all is well.
Sierra Travel yes thank you.. how are you ?
Hello, great and helpful video. How viable is it to walk around? Almost everywhere?
It depends on what you want to see. We picked areas and did what was in that area, so yes it was walkable. But getting from area to area or neighborhood to neighborhood we needed public transport
@@SierrasTravel ah okay! My hotel will literally be on the perimeter of Hyde Park
I think the background music is very energetic. Nice video
Thank you!
Hi is this 3 day London pass valid for 3 days only
And any attractions can we see ?
What about travel cards is it included and 2 days pass and travel card has how many days validity ?
And any nearby hotels to stay ?
Hi, the card is valid for 3 consecutive days after the first time you use it. You can visit any attraction on the list, the full list on their website. But it does cover almost all tourist attractions in London. You can get the card with a travel pass for extra fee.
Thank you for this wonderful upload...

you probably dont care at all but does anyone know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account??
I somehow lost my account password. I love any assistance you can offer me.
@Jaxxon Johnathan instablaster =)
@Randy Julio i really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and Im trying it out atm.
Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Randy Julio it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thanks so much you saved my account!
@Jaxxon Johnathan No problem :)
Did it save any time waiting in lines?
It did! The pass gives you line bypass at all attractions. I remember St. Paul’s had a massive line up and we were able to skip it
It looks like good value.
Thanks for watching!
By doing all 12 how much did you save? Is the 2 palaces included .... Buckingham and Kensington?
What's the official website to purchase this as I've seen different ones?
Awesome video by the way!🎊💯🙏
total savings was around 110 pounds. The website is londonpass.com/en-us
Kensington & Windsor are included but Buckingham is not. Thanks for watching!
