Back at the end of 2017, we join Geoff on a much-needed day of winged pest control, shooting pigeons over an oilseed crop. There's a very cold north wind in his face but Geoff isn't going to be put off. Grabbing the Eley cartridges and Enforcer decoys, he sets out to do what he can before the farmer deploys his bird-scaring bangers. But can he make a respectable bag?

Nice video. The sound track/theme is a bit weird. Slow, graceful music tends to go well with driven pheasant shoots featuring a lot of slo-mo shots, where the birds are often gliding gracefully. Pigeon shooting is a bit more rapid in general, with the birds twisting and turning, so a more upbeat theme and soundtrack seems to work better. Not knocking the video, just found it a bit perplexing to watch.

superb, may i know what size sticks do you use to put on dead birds please? i've bought few in past but they break quite easily.. would like to get some of these, hope can get them from bnq or wickes?

Perhaps it's a matter of perception. I thought of it as calming slumber music for pigeons souls crossing over to the great, pigeon hereafter. ;)

As you can see the pigeons are landing en mass on the crops then eating the crops. Generally doing what vermin do.
