T-Pot | Detailed Slizzer Roll Tutorial

Beatbox International founder, TPot is back with another tutorial! An in depth explanation of how to attain the Slizzer Roll, particularly highlighting the importance of mouth position (through two different methods) to get this sound. Pay attention to the diagram as it will definitely help you when determining where to find the spot of contact and keep practising the inhales. The tongue will slowly adjust and BAM Slizzer rolls! A few people are saying they position their tongue slightly differently, this sound is a tricky one to find for a lot of beatboxers, moving your tongue sideways or positioning it slightly off centre is also a good way to find the sound!
The main thing is, to try and find the right pressure/position on your tongue that YOU are comfortable with to keep it relaxed enough to bounce freely but stay controlled AND your air intake to start the sound and keep it going - move your tongue position around in your mouth slightly to try and find a position that's best for you to get your tongue to bounce a few times and practice from there!

FINALLY!! I watched so many tutorials, and I kept getting inward click and bass. But the whole time I thought everyone had their tongue forward, as soon as I placed my tongue to the back FINALLY got the click sounds. Then Playing with the same spot on the roof of the click I can finally start training for the Slizzer Roll! Thank you so much!!!

Thanks for making this! This is a sound I've been playing with but haven't really figured out yet. Your way looks like the tongue is further back than what I've been attempting. I'm hoping it will help me get the sound.

I do it differently. I put it slightly to right when I put it on the hard palet. Then I do it with the back of my tongue...But I will try learn this might sound different. Thanks for the video!!

Thers a thing I dont get guys, this sound makes one (or both) sides of your tongue vibrate, or just the tip of the tongue?
Because all I get when I try this roll is click roll, wich involves the tip of the tongue...

abhanshu Singh inward draws breath, the regular clickroll does not. just like inward lip bass draws breath where as the inward liproll does not.

T-pot man when ever i put my tongue on hard palate and try it comes click roll not the slizzer though i am not tightening my tongue just tryna suck in some air..hope you'll answer my question !

Yes ik i am late but in case u need it, for clickroll u usually use the back of the tip of the toungue but in this u have to use the front
