Full of hidden symbolism and metaphorical imagery, "Severed Heart" is a trek alongside a beautiful, yet tormented soul.
Sacrificing love for freedom, Lisbeth severs ties to protect not only herself but her significant other. Follow in her footsteps as she protects the city from a deadly faction of soul seekers that sense and feed off love. It is only during the aftermath that she realizes she needs to become a soul seeker herself to find the person she left to protect. Unfortunately, all seems too late as she finds out that he has seemingly moved on.

By removing the statuette from the control of the extremist soul seekers - Lisbeth has re-established love and peace in the city - but at the cost of her own inner peace. Taking the subway back toward her home, she is suddenly overcome with sadness as her love returns for her significant other. Her innate ability to disconnect her feelings from the situation has vanished. She had absorbed all the negative red energy stored within the Statue of Liberty. Energy that empowered the extremist soul seekers was now causing turmoil within her - she hated herself. She understands she needs the love and support of her significant other, but is having mixed feelings of sadness, anxiety and hatred of herself. Her senses are heightened as she feels acutely aware of people's emotions. The exposure to the spiritual agent on the battlefield and red energy has caused her to exhibit hybrid characteristics of both empathy and dark empathy. She looks everywhere, but her significant other is nowhere to be found. She is losing all hope as she is overcome with loneliness. She falls asleep in exhaustion.
