''The Olympic Games is just a game.'' Tom Daley is quite right. If we look at things for what they are, regardless of how important or unimportant they are to us, the pressure is taken off and we are more likely to enjoy the journey 😊 But... is it as simple as it seems? 🤨 What is your opinion on this? really enjoyed this interview; nice to listen to Lance and Tom discuss where pressures are in their world. Great Questions, and a very comfortable atmosphere. I appreciate Lance's perspective on writing true-life stories; there are so many times I share a "memory" with friends about something that happened in the past, and when I think more deeply about it, I realize THAT'S NOT what happened! I guess depending on our personalities, we tend to either enhance the past or diminish it.
What a lovely couple their love for each other is so real. I have always admired Tom and now Lance it was a nice surprise to find that Lance and I share the same birthday 10th June but I can not believe he is only 4 years younger than me he looks so much younger. I used to have a drink and wished HRH Prince Phillip a happy birthday as his birthday was on the 10th June but now I can wish Lance a happy birthday instead
Lance I wonder if often, particularly of late, that you feel Tom's career success dwarfs yours. I hope that is not the case. Tom's careers is a important one, giving lots of support to LGBGQT young people at a moment in time. Yours is one that is longer terms, valuable in so many other ways. Your rock sir.
Lance's job has nothing to do with fame ,he is a director and a writer, being famous is not important for him...when he won an oscar , no one knew about him , only people that work in his field
