@@Powered1Buttercup I was about to say the same thing. Every time I see that clip of Shea struggling to keep it in & then just can't anymore cracks me up. Also, watching Michelle, Ross & RuPaul absolutely losing their minds over Judy telling Dave he wasn't responsible for her death is another part that just kills me.
Also keep in mind the producers don’t let them go until they say something they can clip for drama.

@@sans3go342 Some people are very fairly calling out the production on their choices with AS7. The extra star twist at the end, having the finale be a lip sync and then adding on after the fact that they'd also be considering performance throughout the competition. Jinkx just has the unfortunate position of being in the middle of production's choices for the season. Another example is how Trixie Mattel got shit because of production pulling out the jury of peers vote during AS3.
@@StarkJ889 yeah but people take it too far as usual. Yes the production choices were shit for AS7 but imo it should always be a cumulative thing. And regardless of the production Jinkx deserves the crown and people shouldn't come for her. Come for WOW that's who should be criticized. The drag race fandom is just too toxic.

The way she won S5 even with questionable looks and makeup speaks volumes about her talent. And I expected her to win AS7 but the way she managed to top herself in Snatch Game still blows my mind. Even The Viv, a master impersonator who had one of the best Snatch Games of all time on UK S1, couldn't manage it.
I honestly thought the Viv was going to be top two with her .. or the essence.. but exchange took the top two, spot
As time goes on, the newer fans are just so disconnected from seeing real queens who come up through the clubs and theater. It's not always about looks or little stage gimmicks ("she pulled out a lip stick on stage, she should have won!").

I think she won me most with the way she treated Dave. She worked with him and treated him with such respect. I love her so much! Couldn’t watch later seasons cause they’re not going to get anyone better. Thank goodness we got her for all stars!

Jinx is one of those drag queens that no matter what just outshines the others around her. Bianca Del Rio is the same in that sense. I’d love to see the two of them go against each other, now that’d be legendary.
Personally i don't find bianca at the same level as jinkx, i like her but she serves the same look each week and can't lipsync, unlike jinkx monsoon

I saw Jynx talking about people saying she gained weight and that made me so frustrated for her because she is soooo amazing and beautiful and omg her voice! Like of all the things she does and people talk about her weight? So insane to me. Jynx is some next level shit, truly.
i saw that too and was so lost because curvy jynx looks amazing.
Honestly sometimes it's healthy weight and I see that as healthy weight.
Jinkx is part of an extremely exclusive Drag Race club of platinum level entertainers. S tier in every category. There's so many queens now who its like "ok cool, you're beautiful and glamorous and you take a lovely Instagram photo" but they just do not have the same kind of quick wit or performance skills as a Jinkx, as a Bianca, as a Trixie, as a Katya, or as a Bob.
What I love so much is Ru’s relationship to Jinx feels like one of equals in a way I’ve never seen from other contestants on RPDR. Ru is legitimately delighted by her humor and always excited to see what she’ll say next.
I love how Jinx has gone from her original season as the most disrespected queen the one of the most respected!!! True talent and artistry!
As a queer person, I experienced a lot of bullying as a kid. I felt triggered when Roxxxy Andrews tried bullying Jynx Monsoon. She was terribly mean even when Jynx was courteous. The fact that Jynx did not turn sour, she continued doing what she does best, SHINE, is such a big lesson to queer people and all people in general. No matter what others say, love yourself enough and be yourself. Your bullies are probably jealous because they are not at your level and never will be 😀 Lots of love Jynx 💕 You never fail to put a smile on my face 😊

seeing jinkx in season 5 is like seeing trinity k bonet in season 6 vs their all stars runs. their talents got to properly shine but jinkx really is just a powerhouse in every aspect of drag other than sewing which... who cares she can pay designers and employ talented artists to work with her on costuming. wins wins all around.

She really is the embodiment of talent and charisma, and I am always amazed at how much of an amazing entertainer and artist she is, able to adjust to her audience, but not that much that her art would suffer.. Plus, and this is important for realityTV, so likeable! ❤️

Was there any doubt that Jinkx was going to win? She's my favourite queen along with Bianca Del Rio. If they were to ever compete I'd want Bianca to win, but Jinkx would probably be better in many ways. However, Bianca can and does do what she says isn't in her wheelhouse, very well so she might yet surprise all of us. I'd hate to watch them and Bob in one season because my nerves would be shot.

In the end it doesn’t matter what you look like. It’s all about having an awesome personality and not being afraid to show it fully. She kept her eye on the goal. I can’t stand the queens who dissed Ru and the show. How much more amazing can it get then the opportunity to get all that camera and free advertising time? She’s a pro and so comfortable with who she is. And because she is so comfortable with who she is she makes everyone feel comfortable in their skin. I wish I had felt that comfortable at her age! Looking forward to more!
