Audio: Stereo [uploader's note - no, it isn't - only linear VHS audio was available on the tape, the Hi-Fi tracks are blank]
They wasted a 4 hour tape on this 2 minutes worth of footage!
They used to have these promos in amongst packs of Philips HG tapes at the time
Which you could tape over... but that means having to put up with 5 seconds worth of rainbow embedding before the magnetic eraser took effect.
Yeh I bought one of those video tapes from Kmart and was wondering at the time why blank tapes had ads on it at the beginning. Didn’t know what Galaxy was then but later on I knew all about it when they went bust and we ended up getting foxtel cable!
Anyways, love to see more from Galaxy Pay TV from the 90s

wow never knew Digital Pictures was in Chandos St, image is really good quality, who was the S-VHS transfer for? funny how most of the "old iron" post companies are no longer around, wonder where all the gear went.
It was for a video advertising company called CMT (Cyanosure Marketing Techologies). They had kiosks set up in Westfield shopping centres which displayed video advertising and TV shows. Only existed for about three years between 1994 and 1996 before they went bust. I believe this would have been their master copy, all of the tapes I have which were actually used in the kiosks were noticeably poorer quality than this.
