I personally think the original lions claw is better. It does more raw damage and stance damage than savage lions claw. It's also faster and easier to use. May want to give it a shot! It wrecks bosses and breaks their stances super fast, especially on NG.
Y'all have been super helpful when it comes to coming up with build ideas this dlc, I've been struck with decision paralysis this whole time😂 I've been meaning to ask what music y'all use for the sped up sections, it's super nice!
Just a side note: the talisman you get for helping Leda against Hornsent only increases the damage of attacks you do while dashing. The talisman described in the video verbally, that increases rolling, crouching, and backstep attacks, is a completely different talisman you get for helping Leda kill Ansbach. So there is a very good reason to side with here there, as it’s one of the best talismans for certain weapon classes (colossal swords for example).

So, you don't have to invade Hornsent at the castle to get his gear. I used him as a summon against Messmer and weirdly he later invaded me over at Rauh Ruins where the bug people were(you take the lift and if you're on torrent trying to go up the ramp to the next floor of the structure, you get kicked off of torrent and get an invasion message).
@@sparkslegends7482Hinterland. There's a hole you can drop down with an item as bait. It doesn't actually get a boss health bar, it's pretty much a copy of the giant hand you can find in Mountaintops.
If your having trouble traversing the abyssal woods, try using the mimic veil paired with the crepes’ veil, and concealing veil talismans and stick to the walls. No spoilers but it’s helps ALOT with some parts of the area If you’re patient. Hope this helps
also black knife armor set is all u need and learn keybind for parry and counter attack. ashe of war on shield plus light/hard attack? not totally sure. on PC make sure u stop sprinting before u do light/heavy attack to get counter attack/critical hit after parry
Cotton, that's not the easiest way through the Woods, that's just the path you took and it's the long and harder path. You can just head west from the Woodland Trail grace directly to the Abyssal Woods grace.
Has anybody else taken down the fingercreeper field boss guarding the fingercreeper ash summon? It has more hp than most of the rememberences bosses and is absolutely massive. Thing is super beefy and hits incredibly hard. It literally doesn't drop any loot, but it's a really fun encounter, and I had to optimize my build just to take it down.
I've got a question about things being broken or not working the way they're designed to. Take Ansbach's bow for example. My understanding is it shoots 8 arrows at once and if any connect the game counts it as if all of them connected. But regardless of whether that's intended you're still using 8 arrows every time you shoot this thing. If they change it so it only counts arrows that actually hit wouldn't you need to be at point blank range to get use out of it? And, once again, you're still blasting through 8 arrows per single use. At present the bow may be overpowered but it is useable. If they change it doesn't it become completely useless? I'm just trying to understand these things.
Didn’t think I was going to walk away with any new bosses but it seems I forgot the ghost troll boss that drops 9 smithing stones. Seems that I didn’t explore as thoroughly as I thought. 😅
Yes there is another one and the same area as the Centipede/Scorpion boss. I wish I could explain how to get to it but it is near a giant shooting a bow.

@@johnf817 nope but using a build that requires no dodging, no waithing for opening, can't be punished by the boss, requires to spam one bottom and nothing else, is a cheese build, this is more of a cheese than impenetrable thorn, i am not against it, play however you want, but you can't say bro is "easy" if that makes every boss easy, you'd have to say my build is strong
5:58 This is just a straight up lie.. helping Leda vs Ansbach not only gives a unique reward, it's one of the best talismans in the entire DLC bc it boosts attack after a dodge or crouch.. And you can ONLY get it by helping her vs Ansbach
HINT: on your way to MIDRA ! The UNTOUCHABLES are KILLABLE. They need to be parried. Once parried they are open for attack if you miss the critical hit. First one you kill will give you a GREAT talisman.

I dont know why but the bosses are ridiculously easy for i beaten them on the 1st try now im in altus so far it has been easy for me btw my lvl 180 and this is my second playthrough in my journey in this game

@RageGamingVideos. BRUH, learn how to control your tone. You're using elevated tone for 18mins straight. You use elevated tones for emphasis or inflection not for 24/7 talking.
#4 and #5 are both inaccurate...for the former, that talisman enhance sprinting "dash" attacks (not any attacks related to backstepping, dodging, crouching as you mentioned)... and for the latter you didn't mention that upon returning to Leda after invading Ansbach she rewards you with a DIFFERENT talisman (aka the talisman that DOES enhance attacks after backstepping & dodging, but not dashing). Not a big deal, but on this occasion I thought it was worth pointing out given that these talismans are arguably some of the most important items to acquire in the DLC, while simultaneously being some of easiest items to miss.

I want to move to limgrave or get a little house off the shadows coast. I hear its really nice there if you can deal with enemy's for neighbors.

She'll give you the Talisman if you help her with Hornsent or Thiollier btw

It doesn’t imply he’s an albinauric. It straight-up confirms that he is one.
