Making A Bash Plate for the Vstrom

In this Video i show you how i made a protection Plate for the Vstrom,,
I used mostly scrap i had laying around. using a Gasless Welder and
other basic Tools. This Project cost me less than $50 to make.

Not a bad job all in all Sir. Good idea to have the captive nuts in the main bracket. I shall be seeking an arrangement that doesn't attach to the engine at all however. Kind regards.

How is it holding up so far? I have the Weld 86 plate on my Strom and it's pretty mangled.

It is doing its job for mainly dirt roads, I have hit it a few times and dents easy with all the weight of the bike on it. Alloy would be better. Thanks for the comment.

Just bought a Weld86 skid plate but haven't received it, what's your impression of it?
