The yoke inputs become more visable when the FO disconnects the autopilot. Does manual flying require more corrections or is it because the speed is decreasing as you approach the runway?
The FO did a good job considering the low level turbulence hit just as he went manual. Love how you always reset the speed brake with a good shove. Keep it up. Thx for sharing.
From an IP standpoint, the senior pilot is always there, ready to take any action that may be required. We call it "guarding" but still letting the other person control the aircraft.
Captain, I have a question. Several years ago I was on a flight to Atlanta and we were in a severe thunderstorm. It was so bad the flight attendants couldn’t move around the cabin. The plane hit terrible turbulence and felt like it was falling then there would be a very loud banging sound. Does the plane actually lose altitude in turbulence? Someone said we were hitting air pockets. Any information would be appreciated. Fly safely sir and God bless. 🇺🇸
@@AirrowRocket Thank you for your information. I just know it was a scary situation but the pilot did an incredible job. He met everyone as we left the plane and I told him what an awesome job he did. He seemed to appreciate the compliment. It looked like lightning hit the right wing. I guess planes are able to handle that?
Nicely done in some 'less-than-ideal' conditions! It's always a treat to see the Queen landing by an awesome crew! Thanks for sharing part of your day with us!! Cheers and blessings always!! 💕✈✈💕
By the time commercial aircraft flying solely using battery power, there probably won't be a need for a pilot. It'll also probably land in strong cross winds because it could utilise strong magnetic fields on its final approach.
When does gear go down? Is it a certain feet or when speed drops to a certain point? I hate flying due to fear but I still am absolutely fascinated with it. I will fly, but get panicky even though I understand a lot of the mechanics of it if not the technical aspects of it.
@Ramosz I wasn't aware of the green fonts, but sometimes it's challenging to guage the size difference of the CRT'S between the 2 series. On a MAX or NEO, it's obvious...not so much w/the 747, at least through a video. Thx for the info, though.
Great landing by the FO on a choppy approach 👍 great video very best wishes to you dear Captain ✈️♥️😊
Nice view and beautiful landing!
Ufff.. Que chimba ¡¡ 👍👍👏👏
This captain is committed to his work
AWESOME!! You still make it look like "a walk in the park" 😊
Nice video Captain Boeing ready to grab the yoke in case things go wrong It shows your expertise very well.
Correct 👍
@@CaptainBoeingno, it shows you are a nervous micro manager.
完全に自動操縦ですね。まして着陸ですね。ギヤダウンは機長がやっていました。
キャプテン、今回も教えるためにコパイやってるんですね💖かっこええ💖キャプテンに教えて欲しい💖
Another great landing? Cheers from CYYB.

Nice to see you back in action Captain Boeing. Happy landings from Portugal.

wonderful camera angle, lovely approach..well done my friend... here's your coffee ☕
Nice camera angle
Captain Boeing Riding Tall!!
Great landing , very professional 👍
Only one word to say ... Brilliant! Oh and thanks for the video. 👍
Honest question, if FO is PF why is the captain touching the yoke? Is that SOP? No offense intended, I'm just ignorant and curious.
I think the commander can always take command in case of need; especially on takeoff and landing (I'm not a pilot)

@@8ch6d makes sense. thank you.
He was operating the radio.
As always, Awesome video ! Good job FO. God bless you and your crewman. Bye for now from New Jersey. Be safe out there. 🇺🇸👍👍👍

Planes can loose altitude during turbulence but it's a minimal amount , it just feels like a lot to the passenger.
Correct Jeff
@@AirrowRocket Thank you. What caused that loud banging sound underneath the plane?
@@Debra.Justice I don't recall hearing a banging sound Debra, sorry.

Reverser 1 failing... but the captain keeps everything under his watch ! :) Nice work !

Cool but why not on the jump seat ? I can’t see what the first officers is doing
Nice!
Hey Capt.
Can you image yourself flying an electric airplane?

It's around 2000 AGL, but it's not a fixed number

Yep, working hard overcontroling and making captain uncomfortable with the f/o's pilot skills.
Great! Is this captain been fired or what?
Why isn't the stearing wheel shaking like this?
Shows how “bad” the flight controls are. You see the same massive over control on the 737. More modern aircraft with FBW require far lass input.
Fairly certain I asked you this before...apologies. Is that a -400 or a -8?? ✈️😉✌️
-400 CRT displays and green fonts in FMCs

Two people with the hands on the yoke is a sickness to watch!
Didn't see anyone working hard except the AP, stupid description 😢
