Because he was so inspired by him lyrically. Also, the last time I went to see Arctic Monkeys in mine, and their hometown of Sheffield, England they had John Cooper-Clarke come out and read this poem before they came on stage
Another fire song by arcticmonkeys is 'You're so dark'. Also alex has his own other side band that have fire music called the last shadow puppets. I recommend 'miracle aligner' and 'aviation' .🔥🔥🔥

505 was never my favourite when the album came out but as I grew up and matured it became one of my favourites
i thought it was depressing but got addicted to it now and do not find it depressing at all and listen to it daily no joke
