Safe to say Courtney is glad to remain gainfully employed and make a living covering sports for ESPN, but you can feel the apathy and frustration having to cover Chicago Bears football even after just a few short seasons after having the pleasure of covering the more competent organization in the Minnesota Vikings Come on back to covering the Minnesota Vikings, Courtney
@PurpleInsider totally understand Matthew! I'm speaking as a Bears fans who's since converted to Vikings enthusiast and can tell you the Vikings while not perfect are much more buttoned up than the Bears Either way, Courtney is a joy and love the camaraderie you both share. I also really enjoyed Robert Mays input on the Vikings and Bears You've hit a home run the last 2 days and would please encourage more of this type of content Matthew! Cheers and SKOL!
Williams career arc: Bust: 15% Fields-like: 44% Good enough: 40% Elite: 1% So far, my concerns about him that had me scratching my head in confusion about the constant adulation from the media are prominent in his game. I’m not sure he has the mental and emotional make-up to overcome these deficiencies. Which is why I had him 3rd behind Daniels and McCarthy in the pre-draft. (Daniels was 1 overall but McCarthy was 1 for the Vikings as I thought he was a much better fit for KOC offense that emphasizes the intermediate passing game.)
I wonder what rookie QB's Courtney would trade straight up for Caleb Williams. Probably not JJ or Penix because they are still unknowns but Daniels, Nix and Maye all look better.
Draft scout has finally returned. We miss you Courtney Cronin.
Love having CRC back on the show. I miss her great takes. She has such a great perspective on the NFL.
Courtney is always welcome.
This was great
The return!
Welcome back Courtney!
No worries Chicago, the Vikings will play down to teams after the Bye.

Two inevitables in life, taxes, and Courtney Cronin getting the math wrong on a pie chart

The standard for greatness in Chicago is MJ. Poor Caleb doesn't stand a chance.
Packers seem to get away with bending the rules quite often. Like they have "the goods" on Goodell 😮
Caleb has lots to overcome so keep the kid gloves handy.

Wait until JJ McCarthy has a clunker... this market will react similarly.
I'd love to go out to eat with Courtney and watch her stress over figuring out the tip for the bill. 😁
