The Hybrids do not come with a spare tire, instead they try to make up a tire repair kit in place of it. They do this, because where the spare tire WOULD be, there is the battery, instead.
Disappointed 2024 touring owner here. 2200 miles in as of now. A LOT of road noise, especially on concrete highways, and you’re gonna feel every single bump in the road. Those 19 inch wheels are ride killers. Good car other than that
You’re correct re acoustic glass. However, the road noise is coming from the wheel wells, tires, and wheels up into the passenger cabin. It’s plagued Honda for decades, especially the Accord. I just didn’t pay enough attention during the 20 minute test drive. Sincerely wish they would pivot off the tech for a minute and concentrate on the driver experience a little bit more.
@@timothynguyenn I’ve been dealing with a very annoying brake noise issue pretty much since Day1. Several service dept trips and a couple different “reasons” given, but no solution, has been frustrating. Thought there might be a break-in period. Well I’m one full year and 13,000 miles in. That break-in window is good and closed. Apologies for using your channel to vent.
I had a 2020 Accord Touring and almost got this one, but I ended up getting the 2024 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited. It just looks so much more stylish than the Accord IMO and the MPG is actually better than the Accord. The infotainment system and customizable options are just nicer. This is coming from someone who owned a 2020 Accord, 2013 Accord and 2012 Civic previously. I haven't been in the Accord Hybrid, but the smoothness of the Sonata is way better than my 2020 was.
You said that you usually get 590 to 620 miles for range. HOWEVER you claimed that you just took delivery and the odometer says 115 miles. Since the car is new how have you "usually" done anything with it?
If you look at my previous videos, you can see that I also have a 2023 Sport-L which has over 10K miles on it. Decided to buy another one which is the Sport you see in this video.
Eh. I just traded in a 21 Touring for a 23 Touring. I like the 11th gen better even though it’s down on power. It drives better, quieter, more comfortable and more premium feeling.
@timothynguyenn compare the sport trim of 2020 vs this 2024 sport trim. Compare the sears materials and the design. You say "you get what you pay for" just shows that you have no idea about Honda
@@Skin-f9e I’ve actually owned the 2019 Sport 2.0T before, I know what you mean but sorry to break it to you this is just how it is now in 2024. Inflation and companies trying to cut costs.
@timothynguyenn thats the point. Now it's not the "you spend for what you get" anymore. Honda spends money putting hybrid system in the Sport trims and its just stupid. Again, looking at that cloth seats and the exterior front grill design are just so ....
@@Skin-f9e It’s not stupid in my opinion - the hybrid drivetrain is very smooth, fast and quiet for the price. The Sport trim of the 2019 also has cloth seats 🤷
The problems I find with the 2023 Honda Accord: 1. No All Wheel Drive is available 2. No heated steering Wheel is available 3. No spare tire is available 4. No XM Radio. If a 2023 or 2024 car missing all of these features is fine for you, then get one. Hopefully, by the time 2025 comes around these deficiencies will be resolved. To me the ABSOLUTE killer is the lack of a spare tire.
Those features won't come back to the Accord for several years, if ever. The lack of native XM satellite radio can be remedied by a regular subscription piped from phone through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. You don't get a good control interface, but you can get a 3-month free trial and special rate of about $8 / month. You also have access to the hundred or more bonus channels that were not available from the infocenter app. The lack of heated steering wheel is bad for all car owners above Mason-Dixon line as winters are very cold up north. Only CR-V. Pilot, Passport and Ridgeline have heated wheel option at this time on high grade models.
@@tomhockman6267 I suppose I could live without a heated steering wheel (put on gloves) I live on a hill and in winter it can be very difficult to get home. I always had problems until I got a car with All wheel Drive. I don't want an SUV and I don't want to go back to 2 wheel drive. No spare is a show stopper. I had a CTS with no spare and I swore I would never have a car without a spare after being stranded on several occasions. Thanx for the info about getting around the lack of XM.
I bought a 24 sport hybrid on Tuesday and I’m truly impressed with this vehicle. Quiet, smooth, 40-50 miles per gallon and well built
Even when the engine kicks in it is very smooth, you don't even know the engine started.
I just bought the Honda accord sport hybrid L in urban grey and added some accessories!! It’s 🔥

Nice review. Love my Hybrid Sport. Going to gas station once a month is a game changer for people who are on a budget.
Just purchased mine and so far so good. I Love It!!
It wasn’t too long ago when these level trims would cost in the low 20’s. Insane that these costing 33k is normal now.

We just got one Friday and it's a beautiful car. Ours is grey and black trim with black wheels.

Driving 24 Hybrid Sport as well. Love it, tons of features for what you pay for. Smooth drive and awesome new and improved Honda interior.

Really good camera on the iPhone. Thought it was a professional camera

I just bought a white owl, mine came with functioning Blindspot monitoring. The early 23s didn’t I guess from the chip shortage?
Some 2023s do.
Is it true that the hybrid lines don't have a space to put a spare tire?
Not sure, however I don't believe there is a spare tire included. Both my Sport-L and this Sport only have tire repair kits with the inflator.

Exactly like my 2023, color and all. Pretty basic stereo, no fog lights, no spare and the absence of chrome body accents gives it a stripped down look
For the price we paid, this should have a way better stereo. Most cars in it's class have a way better base stereo.
