We rescued a rat terrier 11 years ago. Jack was truly a special character. Last year he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge from Cancer. We spent $5,000 to try to save his life. Best money we ever spent. Jack we love you and miss your happy, funny self❣️ I would love to adopt one of these rat terriers. They are a wonderful breed, very high energy, smart and very loving. Too bad COVID-19 keeps us in SC.
They look sooo happy and gorgeous enjoying their beautiful lives thank God for that and for you guys who rescue them May the Lord Jesus Christ give you strength and health each and every day thank you so much 💘💜💛💛❣💓💓💙💙💟😍😍😚😚😙
I remember my first dog. A fat little rat terrier named Ginger. We got her from another family but she was the same age as me.she was 19 when we let her go due to tumors. I miss you baby dog
what if much of these pups are taken from homes because of new bylaws keeping people from having more than two in a house? forcing young and old dogs to suddenly need to be surrendered.... not very free in many of the cases.
@@mmareviewer.2372 I wouldn't agree with those laws. I would purposely move elsewhere or pay to have a kennel license. Nothing will stop me from saving mans best friend. They have no voice and as long as I do I will be thier voice as well as the voice of all the other animal lovers out their fighting the same fight, for the good of their well being. I'm very fond of terriers which is why I asked and commented, and I would never deny any animal in need. Not sure if this was the answer you were looking for, anyways I hope you have a great day!
@@stephaniemariee317 yea, where I am from people are showing up to people's door saying they got reports of them having more than two dogs, and saying they must now pay a fine and get rid of the dog, but is you surrender them to rescue that you can skip the fine and they will leave.
@@mmareviewer.2372 Wow, that's not right. People need to mind their business. As long as thier pets are cared for, and they are responsible owners..I don't see the problem. Where I personally live we are allowed 4 vaccinated & town recognised dogs with town tags. We also rent so we pay insurance on our dogs. Again I emphasize responsible because their are a lot of un-responsible owners in the world that ruin it for us responsible pet owners.
I can't quite identify the dogs you call rat terriers. Sort of like mini foxies or jack russel terriers, both ratters. Can someone tell me please the English or Australian (me) names for these dogs or are they a different bread altogether.
What a bunch off darlings they are
Freedom never tasted so good! Thanks for what you do.
🎼THEN SINGS MY SOUL...🎵🎶🎹🎺🎻🎷💓🎼🎶🎵THANK YOU...

Two days ago--8/10/23--we also lost our little Jack, who was a 13 year old Rat Terrier. We're so heartbroken. He was the light of our lives.

Is the blue colars are boys
These dogs never relax.
Wonderful! Are Chihuahuas related to Rat Terriers? Thank you so much for your work ♥️
They are not related even though they both have prick ears. The rat terrier is a newer breed created from multiple other small breeds
Actually, Chihuahua and Jack Russell were the original mix that produced Rat Terriers. I have been lucky enough to have two Ratties in my family. 💕
I wonder if my Charlie was part Rat Terrier? Just the body and eyes, his tail was straight ears always up and he was black.
My dads been wanting to adopt a rat terrier where are you located? He might be able to take two
Tiene de venta 😊
Looking fo4 female rat how much are they😊

So funny seeing the Covid hysteria with 3 years of perspective. Did she think she was going to catch Covid from the dogs?
