If the mirror was decently priced you could have gotten it and put it next to the jewelry in your booth, so people could see what stuff would look like on them... And maybe price it as a sale item in case someone liked the mirror itself. It'd be a win-win situation.

Same here, once I went back to a Goodwill & saw a coat of mine I had donated for almost $30! It was not donated to be resold @ that high of a price. You could go to any TJ Max & get one brand new for cheaper, Goodwill prices are unreasonable.

Thankfully, I had on thick jeans & it did not pierce through my clothing. Sad state when you cannot trust sitting in public place without possibly serious harm to a delicate area. Now I will double check for poop too. Since the c- virus, we usually take wipes to clean before sitting. The headrests are usually filthy. Those seats seldom get cleaned.

Happy Birthday Kayla! Pogs (as in the game) was "created" here on Maui, where the Haleakala Dairy came out with the POG drink (Passion Orange Guava). They created milk covers that had the POG logo on it, and also a couple of other logos. That was in the mid to late 80's I think, as we actually had a milk cover contest at my elementary school. What you call buggies, we call carts or wagons. I learned that remote trick from you and have used it to test remotes. I actually just sold a Sleep Comfort remote for $130, bought for $1.50. I have another bed remote that I'm trying to clean so all of the buttons will work. I started with four working buttons, now up to about ten. Taking a bit of vinegar and a lot of scrubbing the connections inside to get rid of corrosion. The last one sold for $200 so even though we don't like "projects", I think this one is worth it! Thanks again!

The bear with the sweaters is a Pacific Craft Teddy Bear. Worth at least $75 . Should have grabbed him. A friend found a 1940s era Steiff teddy bear with the button and in pretty good shape at a rummage sale for $1.00 and sold it for over $200. She was like, are you kidding me, when she saw it. It was in a box with a bunch of other stuffed animals. Funny about the knives. Our GW store has some on the shelves and has the more expensive ones in a show case. Don't be afraid to make offers at thrift stores including GW. GW had some dishes I wanted for my own use. They weren't vintage or anything but I loved the sunflowers on them. It was a set of 8 plates, 8 saucers, 8 bowls, 8 cups, a creamer, sugar bowl, a platter and a serving bowl. They were selling each piece separate for like $1.50 to $2.50 each. They had been there for like 2 weeks if not longer. I saw them when I was in the store 2 weeks earlier. I got the manager and told her I'd give $25 for everything and I knew they had been sitting there a while and I also knew they weren't worth what they were asking. She accepted my offer.

    Okay, I just gotta say…
Please folks, don’t play the blame game!! Humans are humans and greediness can creep into any one of our lives… stores are responsible for their pricing…not resellers. And Resellers are wonderful people who are making an honest living!!! Keep on keeping on!!

Haha I didn't trade my pogs either! It took me ages to pick them out, obviously picking out the ones I liked. I wasn't going to get rid of them for diddly squat!

Always check the bowling shoes. They are an easy $50. You can also craft the bowling ball into a ladybug or bubble bee and sell that for a lot of money too.

To get rid of mildew on Kohl's purse. Whatever you put him in the garbage bag with bacon soda a whole box of bacon, soda and shake it shake it. Shake it and leave it in there for 3 days. All the smell is gone. Don't matter if it's running. Choose anything and I tried it and it worked.

I never grab a cart if I want to find any goodies. The one time I did, I walked out empty-handed and learned my lesson. I use this cart rule no matter what store I'm going into.

The best goodwill❤ I've visited is in Carmel, Indiana. Upscale donations. Passed on a silver stand because I didn't know what it was. Turned out it was a wedding cake stand, probably silver plate, for around 10 bucks. When you order a wedding cake, you Rent it for maybe $50. Went back it was gone. 😢

It's a Law of Goodwill. If you take a cart, you don't find anything. Don't take a cart, you find stuff. I've operated the same way for a long time. THen again in my local Ill Will I don't find anything most of the time either way. PS - Dexter Russel was mostly a commercial brand, made in Springfield MA. Awesome stuff.
