In a place where the light within me honors the light within you, it never ceases to amaze me how the critics and critiques come out of the woodwork. But this is the yin and yang of the internet: it brings us the generosity and wisdom of Shane Wilson while prompting criticism of that generosity. Mindfulness accommodates distractions, sounds, thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, as part of awareness. Namaste, Shane, and thank you for the peace of these 16 minutes.

Thank you so much for this..
During the day or when I feel anxious. I visualise my mountain and say the following: I am a mountain, I have peace.

Would be better without the wind or waves background sound. Such a powerful and eminently useful meditation for stability

I'm definitely a nature person. Those souds helped me to calm down and recenter. I felt this connection to nature. I felt harmony and peace. Loved the sounds and the speaking. I would like to find more of this kind of meditation. Thank you so much!

Like the way have background noise and talking. Helps drown out noises around me and concentrate on the words.

Very nice meditation, good voice and the you spoke slowly and soft, but so pitty that you have the background sounds. When its no background sound one can hear the birds in your garden and it was so nice and quite.

The background sound is water that is being used as white noise. Will certainly keep your comment in mind when recording the next meditation - Thank You Marie

The water is nice, but it changes to sound of crickets after a while and the change made me "wake up" from the meditation. Good luck in the future! Namaste

Beautifull. I loved the sound it actually helped me focus. I did it with open eyes although. I saw at the end yellow flowers in front of mee appear. I am meditating every day. I began few mounths ago. In the beginning i did not saw things appearing but now yes. Most of the times it is the nature. What does this mean?

Loved this meditation, the voice is nice and it's a good pace. I do agree though the white noise is distracting especially halfway through it suddenly got louder and made me jump!

Meditation itself perfect though unable to continue as the white noise was such a distraction.

Nice idea, and thanks for posting, but like others have said, the background noise is inconsistent and distracting.

Your voice falters around 2.50 - 2.55 and you say 'its steep or sp' sloping skies' presumably meaning sides. The white noise is a real nuisance and I can't really concentrate through this
