Honestly, secrets. I find it has more options, entertainment and overall the stay was a lot more fun. If your primary goal is relaxation then you can go with iberostar. The pace there is a little more chill
@@wherewilwego thanks so much for the response. Food is also a big factor. I know your stay at Iberostar was shorter, but which food experience was better? Also, did you see cats while at Iberostar?
@@journeywithkay26 the cat comment gave me a good giggle my spouse also cares about that but I’ll be honest I’ve never been to a hotel in Jamaica and they don’t have a resident stray cat most of them usually stay away from people Regarding the food I find the food at iberostar to be more fine dining. The only real light option they had was breakfast. That being said secrets has way more food options with 11 restaurants and bars. So you can choose between a lot of options. Dinner is overall very fancy at every restaurant but I do like that I could still get a burger if I didn’t feel to get dressed and sit down to dine. Food at both places taste great though secrets just has more options
@@wherewilwego lol…yes they usually have cats. I was just concerned because some reviews made it seem like they were on the day beds, in the outside restaurants etc…intrusive. I get what you mean though. I am Jamaican, but I’m afraid of cats…lol…so I needed to get a real take on it. Btw, loved your review on Wonder of the Seas. Planning to go sometime soon. I did their sister ship, Allure of the Seas, with my then teenage daughter years ago and it was an amazing time. I’ll comment more on that video too to show you guys some love.
Please verify before you stay but people staying at breathless can come over and use the facilities. I remember us going to the gym and them asking if we are at breathless & breathless had a private entrance that said for breathless only. So we couldn’t go over there but seemed they could come over. Both secrets share everything though. If you book secrets upgrade (preferred club) you do get a private restaurant, bar, pool, jacuzzi, lounge, and check in
This is a random question, but is "mary jane" accessible down there? Me and my fiance are taking a trip to Jamaica next year and I know you can't bring that on the plane.. Hope I didn't offend by asking
Firstly congratulations to you both 🎉🎉 Absolutely did not offend me. Both Montego Bay & negril has dispensaries which makes it accessible. Most hotels have a no 💨 in room policy otherwise you’re charged a very heavy cleaning fee but I’ve seen people do it outside their room.
Happy Birthday my guy 🎉🎉
🙏🏾🙏🏾 give thanks
I’m trying to decide between Iberostar Grande or Secrets. Which do you prefer?

So is breathless connected as well? All three or just the two secrets?
