not really.he was tutored underneath their mother who was a strong witch.spent centuries dabbling in magic and being around powerful and talented witches.he can recognize a talented powerful witch.
Oh ya I also remember when Davina did this spell she was way older then hope here and Elijah said it was a powerful spell and difficult one and I think Davina took longer to successfully unlink Hayley and that witch while Hope did much quicker
This linking spell did by the Hollow, 1 stronger than another witch only can break it, this proves Hope's raw powers indeed stronger than the Hollow and 1 of the reason Hollow wants Hope's body.

Oh yeah, love the look on Hope's face when she breaks the link. She's so cute! It's interesting that when Hayley was pregnant and linked to Sophie Devereux (don't think I spelled that right) Elijah gave Davina the same spell to unlink Hayley, which saved her life and her unborn baby and now that baby, Hope Mikaelson saved the young witch Davina Claire.

I really like some of the parallels they put in the show. In a way, Davina's been helping to save her this whole time. Davina gave up the bracelet she made with Kol to make the anti-magic bracelet that's been protecting her all these years. I really wanted Davina and Hope to interact more, particularly after what happened in 4x08, or at least someone to tell Hope that Davina is a good person who has saved her but that would never happen.

The reason it look like she is weak is because she didn't want harm anyone. She fears that she might accidentally kill josie or harm her. Hope was holding back. And plus she is not a full trihybrid. Summer Frontana did a great job playing 7 year old hope. The reason her magic is power to break the linking spell is of strength and michelson blood and magic. But she is not powerful enough to stop the hollow from taking over her when the hollow when inside of hope. Hope fight back of trying to take over her and slowing the hollow process over her body but hope was weak because the linking spell took too much out of her. Plus she is still a kid learning magic from Aunt freya and her grimoire. You need to realize she didn't really know spells and her magic well when she lived alone with her mom from 7 years of moving around and hiding from klaus's enemies.

Hope worse fear is harming or killing someone. Like when she killed the man inside the church or her mom taking from roman and his mom Greta. Hope is a powerful witch and she not even a tribrid yet. She only activate her werewolf side. Not vampire yet she didn't die yet.
I love how hope always fixes everything and it's always nearly effortless for her haha
There should have been more scenes of Hope as a kid. The 4th season was too short. She didn't had much time with her parents or played around with her magic. She had to constantly under the Hallow threat.

Bonnie bested Kai by breaking his link and Kai is a siphoner with the magic of two witches and channeling his vampire side yet Bonnie bested him , but then Bonnie is extremely powerful and has achieved feats no other witch has ( Ressurecting multiple people , channeling power of 100 witches , Expression , Creating a whole new dimension of afterlife just like cade ) so it would make sense that Bonnie would beat him .

*The way Kol compared his true love for Davina with Klaus's love for Camille* ... and how Klaus called Cami his "true connection". And Rebekah told Klaus to run towards love and looks at Cami, and Elijah tells Aurora that Klaus know the difference between petty desire and real love. Even Mikael kidnapped Cami because he knew Klaus, the immortal hybrid, would risk his life to save her. The whole Mikaelson family knew Klaus's true love was Cami and some people still think he loved Caroline more.
Camille's death as so profound that Klaus "I am immortal, I can't be killed" Mikaelson is willing to sacrifice his life for his family twice. She made him see that immortality doesn't neccessarily mean to be alive for al eternity, but the memories of you will forever be immortalised in the minds of the people who love you.
Klaus and Camille are endgame. We don't need to see them together post-death to prove that. There's no way that he wouldn't meet her in the afterlife when he hallucinates her years after her death.
Caroline can't hold a flame to what Camille is to Klaus. No amount of forced, pointless fanservice and nonsensical lies like "you were never the villian of my story" (er... he was literally a bad guy who tormented her boyfriend and friends AND almost killed her twice) "it would be impossible not to notice you, Caroline" (he didn't care that she was going to be sacrificed for his ritual and didn't even bother giving he a single look when he kidnapped Tyler and forced him to turn into a hybrid) is going to change that.

Divina when she had the harvest power that the unnoting spell requires much more power than the vina can imagine and hope did the unnoting spell without her nose bleeding and she cast a powerful spell which is the cloaking spell and this was before she had triggered her wolf side for your magic to get a boost you have to trigger you wolf side so she was using a lot of magic in the originals without her nose bleeding so we all dont know what hope limit is

Klaus and Cole are my favorite originals. I think klaus overreacted. If it was cami then he would try as well. Cole isn't really weak and he kinda didn't do anything wrong. He loved davina so much. He always seems to be the odd one out and he never gets any love. This scene is also powerful with the words and brilliant acting. He looks so desperate.

I saw the whole fight and to me klaus seemed to be winning.Sure kol got some hits because they were close in strength but in the end it was obvious he was stronger.When he used the dagger with one hand kol stopped him with one hand but soon he had to use both to push him back and when klaus used both hands he was clearly overpowering him.
The last 2 and half seasons of the originals sucked. Any character development went backwards and the mikaelsons went back to vampire diaries days. This is a prime example.

Sabira Sabur Kol's family don't love him or stick up for him the way Davina does. She has been loving, warm and kind to him, something his family hardly ever did. She brought him back from the dead, while his family didn't even TRY to resurrect him. His family do NOT deserve Kol's loyalty and yet he has still helped them now more than he should have.

This isn't a big deal to me. They have always treated Kol like crap and besides he isn't the only Mikaelson who was put love before family. No Davina isn't innocent but she's always been devoted to Kol and went to the end of Earth to get him back because she loved him so it's only natural that he will do the same for her.

did you watch season 4 of TVD? How Kol died and all Elijah cared about was f*cking Katherine Pierce. At least Kol has a legitimate reason to care about Davina more, she actually cares about him. Kol did more for Elijah just by showing up in the first place.

TVD4 Kol was murdered by the Gilberts, Elijah did absolutely nothing, couldnt even pretend to care, then sided with his killers. As did Rebekah and Klaus.
TO2 Kol was dying and instead of being with him or trying to help, Klaus and Elijah attended some stupid wedding.
TO4 Elijah dies, Kol comes straight to NOLA to help Family only stopping because Davina actually deserves his loyalty.

I personally believe if Kol was dying and NEEDED help, then Klaus or Elijah would've helped him. Elena killed Kol, what could Elijah do then? He had to side with Elena too because he knew that she was right. Kol was dying in Davina's arms and he couldn't do anything that time too. Even davina couldn't save him. They were all sad and gathered around him. Kol was always on his own kinda guy. I believe he was the selfish one from the start even more than Klaus. Fin was nothing. That's why these 3 are the closest.
Ella Kol came back in 4x10 when he learned that Elijah had been killed. Elena was not in the right to kill Kol, he was protecting himself from her, she set him up. Also endangered her brother and millions of others by doing so. has been confirmed by Klaus that Kol became the way he was because of how his family treated him. Doesn't matter if they wouldnt have been able to save him in season 2, they still didn't care enough to be there for him. Kol is no where near selfish, he only put himself first occasionally because no one else cared about him. Klaus has done way worse than Kol even to his own family yet Elijah still worships the ground he walks on.
