I have been watching video after video for several weeks (from many channels) trying to wrap my brain around some of these techniques and while watching this video some of it just "clicked". Grateful for your content. :-)
@@riteshraj6590 Hi there, did you follow the link and add in your email address? If so please then check your email to confirm (worth checking Junk folders just in case if you can't find it) - you should then get sent the preset!
@@riteshraj6590 Please try re-entering your email address using the link, you'll then need to confirm your email as mentioned. Shouldn't be any problems, if you do this again and have an issue, please just email me directly and I'll sort it out for you!
i guess Im randomly asking but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost my login password. I would love any tips you can offer me
@Kenzo Kendrick Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Great tips and quick look at all these tools! I'd also mention the Color option in the Gradient Filter Tool as a way of adding color through an overlay.
Thanks so much for that! This update wasn't actually available for gradient / radial filters and the brush tool when I made this video. It's a new addition since then :) but agree it's a great way to play with color!
Sorry dude, unfortunately this free preset is a XMP file, it will still work on Lightroom mobile but only when first loaded onto your desktop version of Lightroom CC and synced. Hopefully I'll do a mobile editing video sometime soon and do a free mobile only preset! The preset pack includes both DNG (for mobile) and the XMP files though!
Does anybody know why I would be missing the colour selector tool in the HSL colour tab? 🤔 Being April 2021 my Lightroom Classic is different than here but a selector tool would be so helpful!
hmm provided you are on the full HSL view, rather than the individual colour views you should be able to see it. It will not show if you're on the individual colour view! That's the only thing I can think of - try clicking on "HSL" where it says HSL/Color on the tab. If you're already on the HSL view I cannot think what else it might be
@@TKNORTH oh my goodness that's so simple thank you 🤣 I didn't think I had that layout at all oops. I tried showing all colours but only in the "colour" tab, didn't even know they were different tabs. Thank you! Life saver 🙌
So whats the purpose of the "color grading" section? (The section with those 3 spectrum circles) What's different from that as opposed to the tone curves??? Aren't they almost the same? Great video by the way, thank you
1year old video showed me a ton more than most recent vids also also, yo so glad to see who took the pics of Japanese scenery I saw on Facebook a few months ago.
Adobe updated it! You'll now find it under the "Color Grading" tab - with a few more options! Got a video just on that updated tool if you want to check it out
Hey TK, awesome video thank you. I'm trying to decide what workflow to get used to and was wondering if you have a preference between Lightroom Classic (Desktop based/local storage) and Lightroom CC (Cloud storage and mobile editing)? Supposedly more editing control in Lightroom classic, but I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment! For me personally I still stick mostly with Lightroom Classic. Mostly because I have way too many photos haha makes it difficult to move everything to cloud, it would also cost a lot for cloud storage for the size I have. I still use CC for editing on my mobile etc. Classic for me is much better for file management, especially if you have a large catalogue. Lightroom CC is getting pretty close to Classic in terms of actual editing control, only a couple of things now that differ! So mostly depends on your storage and which option suits you better :)
@@TKNORTH I appreciate the feedback, thank you! I think CC is working for me now because of my newbie affinity to editing, but it sounds like Classic is more convenient for file management in the long run. Thank you nonetheless and Merry Christmas man!
great video! but I just tried out the adobe colours you used at the end and I was wondering if there is a way to apply to your photos or how is that feature intended for use?
You look like Arthur from peaky blinder.. Btw great video..

Don’t mess with Arthur. He’ll kill ya 😬

Great explanation of the tone curve man!
Thanks man! More in depth one to come for that!

Excellent material, though the last information regarding adobe color wheels was something new to me! Thanks!
Is it mandatory that we doo all the colour grading method or it varies according to photographs?
