COOL Custom Circular Hydraulic Elevator - Apple Store, 5th Ave - New York, NY

This is a super cool elevator in a super cool store! This is the only Apple Store in the world that is open 24 hours a day. The store itself is fully underground and the entrance is just a big glass box with this tube of an elevator in the middle with stairs going around it. It's very simplistic from an architectural standpoint. An interesting thing is this elevator actually completely replaced another round elevator. That one was full glass and much cooler than this one. Don't get me wrong, this elevator is really cool too. Just not as cool as what it replaced.

It’s not, because there were never any Mitsubishi installations in NYC. They have an office but they don’t make elevators in the state.
