I think this area of the park & it's main ride could definitely use an overhaul. There's sooo much more they could do make in the area, so many neat attractions they could create using this franchise. As for the River Adventure, it's a very cool ride but some new animatronic dinos and updated effects would be so awesome.
Very nice! Videos like this are what really makes me feel like i'm back in the parks... navigating crowds (very busy down there right now!), humming along with the background music, watching other people enjoying themselves. Jurassic Park is one of the parts of Universal that I feel is just as well-themed as the Disney parks. This also serves as a reminder of why I try to avoid Orlando in the spring. Too many people! September-February are my favorite times to visit by far.
They better not take out the River Adventure ride. This area should have something more though, but that's basically the Islands of Adventure flaw. 1, maybe 2 if you are lucky great rides in each area only.
You know, I believe that it's definitely worth the stab in the dark that it is. Nothing can be great if you never ever give it the chance to become something. And if it fails miserably, do you think that it will ruin the quality of the first three? No, it does nothing to the previous movies and it can be easily forgotten if it turns out to be a complete dud. I would rather have there be another chance for a great Jurassic Park movie than none at all and be stuck with the question of "what if?"
I just thought of something that would have definitely been even really more awesome. instead of making Jurassic Park part a section of the Islands of Adventure area at Universal Studios in Orlando in Florida and of an area of Universal Studios in Hollywood in California, Steven Spielberg really should've thought to have Jurassic Park made into an actual lone theme park by itself with full-size realistic animatronic dinosaurs of every species of dinosaurs that were seen throughout films made at Stan Winston Studios and given to Jurassic Park in Orlando in Florida and Hollywood in California, and built more rides and attractions like the jungle explorer tour ride that goes around the whole entire park with paddocks of the realistic full-size animatronic dinosaurs behind fake electric fences, and a ride called the Bone Shaker that is seen of Episode 2 of the Jurassic Park 2011 game, and still have rides such as the River Adventure ride, and still have pre-show attractions such as the Triceratops Encounter trail with a realistic animatronic triceratops made to look exactaly just like the sick triceratops of the first film, except the triceratops would be standing all the way up and not laying down, and the dinosaur hatching lab inside the visitor center of the hatching of all different species of dinosaurs just like the velociraptor egg hatching scene of the first film, and have two more pre-show attractions of people wearing realistic velociraptor suits made to look exactally just like the suit of a video here on UA-cam called "JURASSIC PARK - Evolution of a Raptor Suit" behind fake electric fences pretending to attack the fences hilariously scaring the park quests and visitors, and another pre-show of a velociraptor cage with an animatronic velociraptor banging around inside making the sounds and noises lifted by a small forklift being transported to containment just like the opening scene of the first film, and have different food and drink stands so that the park guests and visitors can have something to eat and drink, and souvenir gift shops selling all different kinds of Jurassic Park merchandise so that the park guests and visitors can take home a memorible souvenir of their very first and more visits at Jurassic Park. i wonder why Steven Spielberg never thought of it that way instead. it would have definitely really been even more successful if Steven Spielberg had actually did it that way instead. if i was in Steven Spielberg's shoes, that is what i would have definitely had done!
