Hi while making cauliflower paratha, When we wash cauliflower n dry it for hrs n hrs too, its not completely dry .when we grate it, it leaves water... It makes paratha mushy....please send video for it Thank you
My MIL used to wash it the night before. My mom squeezes out the water from the grated gobhi by hand and uses it for kneading the pronthi dough. Hope this helps 😊
The majority of fruits and vegetables purchased at your local store contain some degree of various types of pesticides. Farmers and growers use these chemicals to enable them to produce near-perfect fruits and vegetables in mass quantities, free of insects, bacteria, mold and rodents. However, these artificial chemicals pose health risks to humans. So, washing vegetables is very important.
@@sravanthik7724 the problem with using very hot water is the worms may die in the califlower then u still have to find them. I think luke warm water, cover the cauliflower with the water and add 1 tbsp salt and a cap ful of vinegar. Some people add tumeric but this changes the color of the cauliflower to yellowish. After 15 mins wash the cauliflower, and dry. I check each peice anyways and then prep is done.
Rajakannu Vijayakumar Black spots are common, it means the process of decaying is slowly happening, the moment the coliflower is starting to get yellow spots and beginning to get mushy is when you should throw it out, but even then you can scrape off the yellow spots and it’s still edible (think of it like cheddar when it gets small mold spots)
Funny. I have eaten many cauliflower and just learned you need to wash them thoroughly. I do rinse them off but that's all. Never seen a bug. No telling how many I've eaten over the years!
no even lage worms become dehydrated from salt because their bodies have a mucus membrane for protection that when you remove the water from the membrane it will float to the top as for the water temperature take a small amount of hot water to melt the salt Crystals then add warm water only then add the vegetable . Ice cold water will not Loosen the grip of the worms as the adhesion is a covalent bond and only will devolve in warm water . you can dip the cauliflower in boiling water go 30 seconds and still store it in the refrigerator for a week or freeze it for longer periods with no harm to taste of freshness when you add it to boiling water you will see the worms float to the top so you must rinse them of with cold water immediately after boiling I mean within sevonds
Your voice is very good n presentation is perfect 👍

@Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana warm or cold water?
Water which is at room temperature with salt.
How to store it? In the fridge it develop black spots in a day or two !!

do most cauliflower have insects inside or is it in rare cases?
Most have.
Yea I didn’t know this 😅
Funny. I have eaten many cauliflower and just learned you need to wash them thoroughly. I do rinse them off but that's all. Never seen a bug. No telling how many I've eaten over the years!
Me toh kidey k darr se hi cauliflower ni khati. 😳
simple water or hot water
warm with cold water the salt will fall to the bottom.of the bowel
It's because of osmosis action. Not dehydration cheff.u have not mentioned how long the cauliflower has to remain in water

How long is " awhile " to soak cauliflower!
20-30 minutes is enough.
But how long??
Please explain your question.
How long to soak the cauliflower in salt water?
Non vegetarians should not bother i suppose😃
I dont
Moses John yeah same I'm done. Damn just when I figured out cauliflower pizza. I'll try flaxseed pizza Instead
Ohh so as a vegetarian will you eat grass and algae?
If you can eat a chicken then why bother about those small warms inside? bcz in the end all of them are going to cook thoroughly.
Exactly my thoughts
umm..because there is a difference between eating chicken and eating worms ?
Some cause, you know, like DISEASES?
People thinking like that is why the coronavirus is infecting and killing so many
Cause some people dont like the idea of eating wormies
I just felt like it's a 5 marks question answer where u tell the same thing in different ways just to fill it 🤣 just kidding
Easy way to clean 👍
Really? Who buys insect infested cauliflower?
Everyone. We just don't see them
Garden fresh has them also...
Please tie your hair
